My list would certainly have Gears and Halo, probably throw out Super Smash Bros Brawl. Otherwise, I agree that the games on the list are very much overpraised, yet that is not a bad thing. They are good games and deserve the praise.

I wasn't aware of the fact that Grand Theft Auto IV is your favourite game this generation. :lol: I, on the other hand, find it quite overrated.

My point: GameRankings and Metacritic suck. Scores are one individual's opinion. Wait until the Game of the Year awards, where the entire GameSpot and IGN (etc.) get to determine which game is the best.

dont forget that this list is about overpraised games on system wars by the majority and not about the quality of every game. this list is spot on and halo isnt on it because halo is not praised on system wars.

I agree with the list though I would have added Gears of war. Oh, and TC was right not to include Halo. That's not overpraised, that is the most hated game of all time.

no kidding. melee was good. brawl is about as close to programming actual garbage onto a game as it comes.

killzone 2 was overhyped before release by people who talk about games instead of playing them. now, if anything, its acutely underrated, as it is a fantastic console shooter, which is rare as console shooters are almost garbage by nature.

mario galaxy deserves all the praise it gets. besides, as one of the only good wii games, you might as well give it a moment in the sun.

i dont know where all yall get this idea halo is overhyped. all i see all day is halo haters with like one guy sayin "naw man i like halo". similarly, i dont think ive ever seen anybody say anything positive about fable 2. people know its a medicore game.

You do know who brings Crysis graphics threads 9out of 10 times? Console owners Also can you find me a console Fps game with- Open world that you can follow any route you want, a gameplay mechanic like the nanosuit that allow you to play the game the way you want it ( including weapon customization on the fly ) and the amount of destructibility Crysis has ( driving a humvee into a tin shack just to see it falling into pieces and killing the soldiers that are inside the shack is always great )?

As for Crysis been forgotten head over to Crymod and you will find about 80 mods and more than 800 single and multiplayer maps for it available for free ( can you find me a console game that has that )
