I sort of agree about #1 though. Sony did have some bad luck with hardware in the past, but it looks like that curse has been broken with the PS3. They really spent time and money into the design to make it a well built console

last I heard...sony ran into a lot of success with its movies last year....I dont think that was their only branch that did well either.

9: wrong. Production costs are being reduced aggressively as we speak. In fact, at the $500 price point, Sony is still making a profit off of every PS3 sold while Microsoft is still LOSING money on each Xbox 360 premium sold at the $400 price point (yes, that's with the bloated overpriced 20 gig hard drive, which is basically pure profit box).

8: Little Big Planet developers are thrilled with it, as are nearly every exclusive PS3 developer. Silent Hill 5 developers wanted to make Silent Hill 5 exclusive to the PS3 simply because it offered them the only fully realized place to live out their vision for the game. They decided against it because sales were poor. Development IS NOT AN ISSUE. First parties share their knowledge with eachother, and now it's available to third parties via Playstation Edge. Epic says that, at this point, UT3 is farther along on the PS3 than Gears of War was on the 360 a year ago.

I just watched Planet Earth on Blu Ray on my PS3 and I couldn't be happier with this feature. In fact, I'm thrilled. Ok 2 of the reasons are repeated. Numbers 10 and 8 are the same and #3 and 2 are the same. And all 4 of those numbers are wrong. Just look at Sony's first party games and you can see how "impossible" the PS3 is to develop for. Or why don't you ask Team Ninja (Ninja Gaiden Sigma) who said themselves that anyone who is complaining about the difficulty of developing on the PS3 is just being a lazy developer.

And the PS3 is being marketed as gaming machine that can play Blu Ray movies not the other way around no matter how much people want to claim it is.

Well maybe you should look at the facts:

The Xbox 360 has currently has 44 exclusive games. These include titles such as Gears Of War and Halo. Whereas the PS3 has a mere 8 exclusive games, in my opinion the most prolific of these being Resistance: Fall of Man.

In the Gamespot graphics comparison round 2, "the Xbox 360 had an edge in texture quality and antialiasing in many of the games". The conclusion also said that in only 1 of the 7 games tested that the PS3 had superior graphics to the 360.

Gamespot have reviewed a number of games that appear on both platforms. With games such as Oblivion and Rainbow 6 Vegas, they have been rated higher on 360 than on PS3.

The Xbox 360 HD-DVD player is the cheapest high definition player available, now selling in America for $179 (£87). Instead of a £425 price tag for the PS3 built in Blu Ray player.

In my opinion, Xbox Live is by far the most intuitive and user-friendly global online experience. Since Xbox Live's online gaming network launched in November 2002, gamers have spent over 1.5 billion hours on the network playing games online with their friends around the world. This is equal to 65 million days of gaming or close to 200,000 years.

So to conclude, I don't think that saying the Xbox 360 fails because it sucks major cow d**k is enough to make people want to buy a PS3. Nuff said.

then why has the ps3 been selling better then the xbox 360 in the past 2 weeks? and its been selling ok before that with out any of its big games out yet, so imagine when Lair hits, then HS, then ratchet, then warhawk, then socom, then haze, then UT3, then MGS4, then KILLZONE2... also a few i didnt mention that will be good games(white knight story, folklore, LBP, GTA4/RE5(casuals know these games to be on playstation so that will help a little) The fact is the ps3 is not dead its just getting started
