In no particular order:

• Stalker- One of the best shooters I've played since, well, ever. How this game didn't win more awards is the 8th wonder of the world.
• Mass Effect- A great blend of TPS and RPG gameplay, a superb story and one of the most cinematic games I've ever played.
• Portal- Proof that games don't have to be 20+ hours long with online MP and big explosions to be fun.
• Super Mario Galaxy- A triumphant comeback after the debacle that is Super Mario Sunshine. One of the best artistic designs in gaming.
• Forza 2- One of the best online communities this side of an MMO. The auction house and customization bring a whole new layer of depth to the racing genre. Not to mention the best racing gameplay on consoles.

Metroid Prime 3: Amazing controls and nice art sty'le

LOZ: Phantom hourglass: The first traditional game that makes great use of the touchscreen. Better than TP IMO.

Mass Effect: Amazing experience....but held down by a couple of technical issues.
