So, i've not turned my 360/PS3 on since January. Have PLENTY of catching up to do. Where do i start? What have been the must play games of the year so far? Seriously out of the loop here!

Dead Space 2 Portal 2 Crysis 2 LA Noire That's about it. You might also want to check in on Crysis 2 and Dragon Age 2 though.

Don't think I've played 10 games on consoles yet this year. MLB the show 11 and MK9 are the two console games of 2011 I play the most though. Still havent started LA noire

Start with the ps3 exclusives first, then hit the multiplats. Lbp2, kz3, infamous 2 about to be released.

ive only played DAII and l.a. noire so far. id recommend both, but l.a. noire is the better game.

Thanks for the responses. I'll be checking out Dragon Age 2(Although, a friend said it was hated within the community) LA Noire, Crysis 2 and Dead Space 2. Din't really LOVE the first Portal(I know, i fail) Jeez, been a slow year so far. Only 5 games that are AAA debatable.

You miss out on a lot of great games if you only go by what they score

I'm not sure I've even played 10 games released in 2011. Let's see: 1) L.A. Noire 2) Portal 2 3) Killzone 3 4) Crysis 2 5) Socom 4 6) Tiger Woods 12 The Masters 7) Dragon Age 2 I'm sure Little Big Planet 2, The Witcher 2, Dead Space 2, and a few others deserve to be up there. I just haven't played them yet.

have only played 5 games this year which have been released this year that is... killzone 3 , crysis 2 , mvc3 , yakuza 3 , motorstorm apocalypse. The top 3 are coincidentally the ps3 exclusives... mvc3 is good...but its just a ***** online with the bs combo loop and u cant watch people play.. same old routine every game pretty much cause u dont have much of a choice cause its so fast.. crysis 2 had an alright campaign..interesting 'sandbox' gameplay but the story and pacing itself was horrible imo and the mp is garbage..graphics overrated as well.

Here are the PS3 games I've played this year -LBP2 -Dead Space 2 -Mass Effect 2 -Killzone 3 MAss Effect 2 i the only one really worth playing you may have already played it on 360 or PC

LA Noire Portal 2 Mortal Kombat Killzone 3 Socom 4 ( I like it, you probably won't). Everything else has been crap, it's been a bad year in my opinion.
