I may be a PC gamer but I can respect what Mario and Zelda have done for gaming and still do to this day. I put the Unreal Tounry series up there because for many years those games were the defeanite PC multiplayer shooter, only seconded by Counter-Strike which is covered in the Half-Life series.

It was a tie for tenth between Starcraft and Halo. As much as the Halo series is great, one single game has had so much more impact on an entire genre than the entire Halo series. Although great in its own way, Halo wasn't good enough to beat Starcraft.

*EDIT* What's with all the people listing games from mostly/only one platform holder? I'm not bashing, but ... really? I see alot of people posting games only on PC and only on Nintendo systems, so heres my suggestion to you guys: try out other systems games if you haven't, because you are missing out if you haven't.
