[QUOTE="BlueBarad"]Oblivion -- 200 hours - of 150+ hours of nothing.
ME - 70+ hours - of epicness

Nonsense. Oblivion was 60-70 hours, not 200 (and that's completing every quest, first time through, without a guide, and still taking the time to wander around).
...and the only really enjoyable bits were the Thieves' Guild/Dark Brotherhood quests. Most of the other quests were dull.

Yea I wrote that part. And I was going with 50 for the whole thing, the quest, all the guilds, and the majority of the town quests.
I've played a lot of FPSs and I can bodly say Halo 3's Single Player is solid story-telling and a lot of fun. Plus the general gaming world these days prefers multiplayer. If a more in-depth multiplayer comes at the expense of the songle player, so be it.tccavey2
I don't know where you get that from. I know TONS of people that game hardcore offline but don't touch online either due to lag or price of broadband or just because they prefer SP.

From IGN:
"March 24, 2006 - How much free time do you have? It's a legitimate question if you're considering Bethesda's epic The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, as it's likely to engulf whatever tidbits of unoccupied hours permeate your life. It might even start chipping away your daily responsibilities. With over 200 hours of gameplay, Oblivion's depth is nothing short of staggering."
Maybe they are adding up the loading time, lol.

I'm guessing that the review didn't bother to finish the game, and just assumed that there was more content in there.
Back on topic - I'm sick of all of these multiplayer-only games. There are far too many online shooters and MMOs coming out, when, realistically, people would only have the time and money to focus on a handful of them.
I dont get the fasination with the length of games. I dont care how long a game is as long as its great for the duration it lasts.
Crap on all that self-righteous "buh buh spending 60 dollars for a 6 hours game" that just a load of horse dung imo.
