personally torchlight 2 > diablo 3. No always online requirement or ingame store and its modableim liking the first torchlight more than diablo 3. diablo 3 tries to take itself too seriously imo. its boring. i like that torchlight 2 is gonna support steamworks too. cant wait to see what modders come up with

I have only been able to play torchlight 2 on a friends rig because mine is in pieces. but from what I have played TL2 >>>> D3
The game has been getting a ridiculous amount of praise from what I've seen. I've never been a big fan of it's style of gameplay, but I may just have to try it out.
TL1 sucked IMO, TL2 is a whole different game and improved in everyway, even if you hated TL1 like me you need to give this game a try. I bought this game because it was only 20 bucks wasnt expecting much, and it really suprised me, improved in everyway so far as much as I can tell, and it is actually fun to know good gear actually will drop before the 600 hr mark.

I approve of the font change. but having to scroll past that huge image and the big ugly headline to get to the actual text of the review is dumb. As are 100 point scales. And all that white space. I take it there's supposed to be something there and this is a WIP.

The praise for the game is expected. I always figured it would be fantastic, especially after the first game and how poorly Diablo III was received by some fans and the statements made by this team regarding that stupid game.
But on another note, I haven't visited IGN in months, at least six months or so if I'm not mistaken.... but damn is their new layout ugly.
So far I've been loving it, way better than the first one by quite a lot.
It's really well organized and the art style has been even further improved, same with the soundtrack. And the pet system is so much better, the character classes are also great... Everything is much better.

Well this is only 20 dollars compared to BL2's full price, you could probably get this now and then wait till BL2 is on sale, so you get both for the price of one game.
