i am disappointed in GS. this game is out today but hasnt been reviewed yet by this site. if you look at the review from 360 users.... seems like a very good game. so who here got this game already? how is it?
Well, I'm a TF fan, so I'll get it if a more credible site like GS (who I actually agree with 90% of the time) to review it. IGN is way too liberal with 9's. I just hope enough people buy it so it has a strong online community. This could be another Batman.
I think it's funny that there's two GS user reviews for the 360 version right now, and they both rated it "Prime."
Optimus would be proud. :D

It does seem a good game, but I'm not a big fan of Transformers so dunno about this one..
I am, but I'm also hesitant. If I see more solid scores I'll definitely give it a go sooner or later. It's just that there's so much potential for suck with licensed games it isn't funny. Please let this be another Batman.
All this bashing IGN is pointless. The fact is you can find reviews on both IGN and Gamespot that are serious head scratchers. IGN sometimes lets out an overrated score because the reviewer is a huge fan of the game. You can see his excitement in the written review. Gamespot tends to take themselves too seriously sometimes. They will go on about the positives in a game, then start talking about a few phantom frame rate problems so they can dock it a point or two. I mean there is just no reason to knit pick a game just because you want to pretend to be some hard core critic. I tend to agree more with IGN on average. They arent afraid to give a developer their due. I can deal with the occasional over-zealous review in between. Transformers looks great and so far the user reviews seem to match up with IGN.
I think that that's typical for the site that gave MW2 a 10 in sound and gave BC2's sound a 9.

Comparing sounds? You're using THAT to hate on the site? I could list about a dozen other reasons, but I think it's pretty much universally agreed upon that to claim MW2 has better sound than one of the best audio developed games in history is laughable. He was talking about the OST, combined with all the other ambient noise, plus decent gun sounds as well. Secondly, different reviewers. You can't fault them for that. Each review is an opinion.
