Hahaha, I hate john cena, when was that from? I tend to only watch ECW's weekly from WWE (Luckily I have a PVR, since it's on Friday nights here in Canada). Sometimes I watch SmackDown, if it has guys from WWECW on it.

I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt and assuming that's you playing and not someone you gave the account info to to log in and play as you. Even if you're at a friends how, that's fine because you're actually playing on the 360...which was the whole point anyway, right?

Assuming that, I see you're playing Halo 3. It's the first game you've ever played on the 360 and you don't have any achievements yet. I don't think you'll get any achievements playing the game on Easy.

Once you do get an achievement, you'll notice that there is an icon associated with the achievements as well as a score....which pretty much shoots down your original argument.

With firmware 2 40 due shortly. One of the features will be a 2d representaion of the trophies you will get in home. Who else thinks this will be better than some random score on a gamercard.

You are mistaken. Yes there is a composite number but in addition you can view a gamer's entire list of games with each individual achievement. The trophies sound to me like the exact same thing with a different name.

As far as losing the edge goes, PSN will need a LOT more then achievements. First off SONY needs to require voice chat support on every online game like MS did. Lots more but thats a different topic.
