True Or False: PC >X360 >PS3 >XBOX1 >Wii >GC

1 Question: i compared Dirt on x360 to pc today (high settings) and xbox could more than compete.

Id say xbox360 is still no.1 in graphics as long as a game comes out that utilizes the power PCs have right now (its really unbelievable what a 8800gts can do!)

Till now, pcs are limited by their software, not their hardware i think. Try Vegas on PC and compare ... its the same. I dont know why. Perhaps someone can answer this?

Developed for X360 first + UBI = crap for pc.

Just from playing through both of them, they both have their own strengths and they both look stunning. I find it hard to say which looks better. Resistance does have better anti-aliasing though, but Gears has some nice effects like the wet weather and lighting at night. Then againResistance has some nice effects too, like the snow. Overall they're very close I think.

I think Gears is the better game but this is my honest opinion on the graphics.

Also, Gears of War barely beats Resistance. It surely doesn't beat MotorStorm though. MotorStorm is probably the best game graphics I have ever seen.

Talking just specs it'd be

High end to mid PCs > 360 = PS3 > Wii > Xbox > GC > PS2

Gears of War kind of complicates the process, but since it's only a single piece of software that could in theory be done on either the PS3 or PC (since Epic called the 360 a low to mid range PC) I really don't think it's the massive trump card it's being represented as.

We can continue to make excuses for the PS3 and Wii, but the fact is that the 360 has Gears and the Xbox has Splinter Cell CT. Proof is in the pudding.

Good point. I like the addition of the mid-range and non-gamer rigs. I wonder if Nintendo is siphoning from the non-gamer rig market?
