I'm tired of people saying the PC has the best graphics, because right now it doesn't. Sure, the technology is there, but the games are not. The Xbox 360 still has it beat by a pretty large margin, and even the PS3 in some cases.

give it up..saying outdated FEAR looks better than a newer technology game..... Maybe not the overall presentation, but individual aspects do. Yeah, Extraction Point with 4aa and 16af @ 1600*1200 looks pretty damn good :)
PS3??? In what cases??? How 360 beats PC??? To all here talking about gears of war, for the next 5 years of 360's life are you going to brag about only this game??? Gears was great but face it, its past now. See the future and even in 2007 you see no games on console as beautiful as PC's Crysis. And remember its just the first DX0 title.

Lies! Good pcs dont require tons of money. I built mine 2 or 3 years ago for about $1250 and its still fine, i can play most new games on med graphics, even medieval 2 total war which has tons and tons of characters on the same screen and they are highly detailed. I plan on upgrading it slightly to play supreme commander, but thats because the card i had gotten was a year old at the time and half priced -.-.

The dynamic shadow system was nice, but that can't make up for... every other aspect of the game. Aside from the cool bullet-time effects, FEAR didn't look that much better than Doom 3, if at all.
FEAR was a great looking game in 2005, and still looks pretty good today, but it has definately been surpassed by many games since then, including numerous ones on its own home platform (PC).

I agree with this. Crysis clearly shows that PC will always be ahead in graphics...as it should be. You pay for constant upgrades with a PC to get quality graphics like Crysis.
As for the 360 and PS3...well, 360's GPU outperforms PS3's GPU while PS3's CPU outperforms Xbox 360's CPU. They're about equal in reality. Techheads can disbute it all they want IMO, in the end, they're about equal. With the Wii, well, it's fairly behind the 360 and PS3 in terms of graphics. It's going to be dead last in graphics, no doubt.

BTW another game confirmed to run best on 360, Time0, now it makes like 15 games beter on 360, even Oblivion has AA+HDR and proper glows and colors on 360, so it could be 360 >>>> PS3, but i will give it the benefit of the doubt for now
Again the hermits fail. Your PC graphics are only as good as your machine. To say that PC is better than console in graphics is unfair. It's really not that complicated to understand.
