It does have standard movement speed, as well as usual dashes. The homing system isn't just a dash system. Its like RC's in Guilty Gear, or for movement options around the field, or for defensive options.OneSanitarium
Did it dynamically change from Arcana Heart 1's terrible design choices? Because I remember this much:Arcana Heart walking speed = Slower than crouch-walking in any fighter that supports it
Arcana Heart double-tap dashing speed = Every other fighting game's normal "walking" speed
Arcana Heart gauge-draining special dash = Every other fighting game's standard double-tap dash speed
It's like they went out of the way to make Arcana Heart's characters move slower than any other fighting game by halving everything and making something that should be a standard move require GAUGES. Yay, I can't dash more than three times in a row without waiting several seconds to do it again. Wow, thrillin'.
Did they finally bring Arcana Heart's movement speed up to par with the standard set in place by Capcom and SNK fighters from the early 90's, or do the creators still insist on making the characters' basic movement laughably slow?
