somebody explain to him that Assains creed is one of the worst optimized games ever...and that if COD4 can be maxed out on mid-ranged Hardware, than ideally, Assasins creeed should have been able to also.

Unfortunately. Ubisoft is just bad at porting games to the PC. For example, BF2 runs better on consoles than it does on my (current)Mid-range (formerly, at the release of BF2) super-high range PC.

Meh, my point was that just because it has higher requirements on PC doesn't mean Crysis will run at max on a console. Fine, a PC to PC comparison would be BF2 to F.E.A.R. Larger areas and more people doesn't account for those terrible load times, especially when F.E.A.R. had every part of the enviornment react to your bullets/actions.

Point is--> It's all in the optimization. Games that aren't optimized just means that the programmers were too rushed to do so. Thus, it doesn't run as well.

let me explain it in ways an idiot can understand....

Assasins creed is whats known as a terrible port...thats why it makes for a horrible point of comparison....

just like Half Life 2 and UT3 both make horrible points of comparison because based on the PC specs required for both those games, the PS3 should be able to run HL2 at native 1080p with 60FPS and no slowdowns ever. And UT3 on the PS3 should be able to be either Native 1080p, or 60FPS, maybe not both but at least 1.

All 3 of those games are poor ports, they do not at all represent the power of any system.

Thats because BF was a bad port. Crysis can run on consoles. Just not on Max settings and only if they optimize it good.
