Looks great from the videos that I've seen so far, and it's definatly going to have an amazing online MP. I like the destructible environments and some of the charecters and vehicles they have shown look cool, I'm a little hesitiant about the helicopters though, but I'm pretty sure they'll make them great. The lead designer is David Jaffe and he worked on God of War, so it's obviously going to be good then. I'm expecting it to get a score around a 9.

Twisted Metal is not a racing game, at all.

i expect it to score an 8.0. maybe an 8.5. still gonna pic it up though. mainly for nostalgia's sake, ive been dying to play another twisted metal for years.

Because Jaffe doesn't want Online Pass being implemented in this game so to encourage people to buy it new they're gonna have Black come with new copies and not used.

I like how lems are hating on this game and proclaiming it as a flop. I'll laugh if a car combat exclusive for the 360 comes out and all the lems start hyping it up and calling the car combat genre underrated.

In my opinion I think the car combat genre died years ago for a reason. What is the point?

It looks awesome, smells awesome, does awesome things. Its gonna be an awesome game.

It's flopping pretty damn hard. The hype for the game is very minimal, Jaffe has mentioned time and time again that the teams morale is really low but he wants to prove to everyone that it is a good game.

My gripe (much like just about every other TM fanboy) is how much they FPSized the game. I know they need that generic FPS aesthetic to reel people in however it was taken way over board. No distinction among characters, just different riders with cars that anyone can get? Out of car weapons? No unique character personalities? I do not mind the faction idea since it sounded really neat on paper, however only 3 factions and all 3 have the same freakin cars (with the exception of 1/2 cars) No more detailed battle fields with a focus on huge plane fields? A very sceptical looking single player that has some cringe worthy real time acting? I can go on and on...

This game looks so bad, its a damn shame because I really want to like it but everything about it just screams "bandwagon."
