@jg4xchamp: I'm just curious. Can you name any games on the PC that didn't come to a console first that's actually good? I'm being serious. I was just browsing the reviews section of this site and all I was seeing were 4-5-6 and 7s for PC game reviews. That doesn't seem like a good "system" to own when most of your games can't score higher than a 6.
Since we're limiting this to numbers, but: http://www.metacritic.com/browse/games/score/metascore/year/pc/filtered?sort=desc
Pillars of Eternity, Cities Skylines, Kerbal Space Program, Crypt of the Necrodancer, Her Story, Heroes of the Storm, Invisible Inc, Technobabylon, Galactic Civilization 3, The Book of Unwritten Tales 2, Westerado: Double Barrel, Total War: Attila.
That's the PC exclusives that went 80 or better. Some of them will probably go over (Cities Skylines is, I assume the same for Invisible Inc and Technobabylon or something), but bottom line is the PC gets far too many games to easily be dismissed. Yeah most of the games are bad, because that's the nature of "most", because most games that come out, are pretty bad. But the PC's high volume of games, high volume of indie games, and the fact that it actually has a middle market gives it far more range exclusive wise, and more exclusives to get. To go along with every other advantage PC has.
-Customizable parts
-Multiple interface options
-An objectively superior online experience
-On balance the best version of major triple A multiplats due to higher framerate/resolution/more detailed visuals/etc
If you want to argue Bloodborne is a better exclusive than all of them? I actually wouldn't disagree. It's a damn fine game, but one exclusive doesn't overrule a platform that tends to get 10-15 worthwhile exclusives a year. No matter how good that game is, which is why I said these consoles suck if you're a PC gamer, they offer very little.
