Two game I'm happy to see being ignored for awards.

Both games were verygood and fun to play but best of anything they are not.

because either of them didnt deserve any at all, especially the mario game

thats because neither is really that great TBH. ODST was very mediocre so surprised it scored a 9, and Mario is getting old, real old.InfiniteBlak

New Super Mario Bros. Wii deserves alot more attention than it is getting. People saying otherwise just can't handle the old school goodness or just simply didn't play it.

Or maybe they're tired of playing the exact same thing over and over again with little gimmicks :(

Anyway, I agree with OP. As fun as Halo and Mario are, neither of those two games have been mind-blowing or new like the previous installments have been.

Well, if I only had a Wii or 360 I'd want to downplay on awards too.

Awards just as big / important as review scores.
