Actually, the US is only 40% of the gaming market. So if every gamer in Europe and Japan were to buy a system, and say the system was never released in the US. The console could still infact be dominant.
Why do you guys only talk about US sales, geez lemmings do you not know that Microsoft gets owned in every other territory outside of the US, 360 does not exist in Australia and most european countries, ms won't even report the sales figures!!!!!! you talk about madden being 60 frames on 360 wow!!!!! ummm what the hell is Madden?? Nobody cares about it outside the US. Compared to soccer/football it is nothing. Don't you think it was very convenient that Microsoft only reported on american sales data in there e3 press conference. Let me tell you how it works in Australia... Nintendo.... daylight.... sony........ daylight.....night.....daylight.....night..... daylight..... 360 recall..... daylight 360!!! In terms of europe whoa mate its a joke for ms over there they hate the thing so bad. Face it lemmings its over Halo hype will do little... its xbox 1 all over again. Never lie to your customers... because only the diehard will lie to themselves, most will walk away from a company that is continually deceptive. All those shareholders losing $1.89billion on a project they never wanted. Wow those shareholders must be screaming there heads off at microsoft.... too bad they can't here them over the noise of their 360's. dblin
i know

Yeah, Europe and Australia :P But this "America is the biggest market, Japanese sales don't matter" myth should abolished. Why don't I just go to Casey's thread? :P

I live in the US and care about US sales..Why is that bad?Dont know what youre talking about. From what I can tell the 360 is outselling the PS3 in Australia by a slim margin... but yea the numbers are sort of insignificant in the grand scheme of things.

I certainly dont understand why anyone still buys that defective console but those are the numbers.

I live in the US and care about US sales..Why is that bad? It's not bad, it's just that not everyone lives in the US. And this is System Wars, so I'm guessing it's suppose to be more of an international thing.
