I guess Ubisoft is intrigued by the updated eyetoy to the point they are supporting it more than the Sony Wand.

WOW shovelware already being made.. I highly doubt if they are making 10 games within a 6 month time span they will be anywhere near the quality of a Splinter cell, Ghost Recon and Rainbow six vegas.. Chances are its all casual shovelware.. Frankly i wish they where developing 0 games for the PS3 "wand" and they would save all the shovelware for Natalhttp://www.joystiq.com/2009/11/30/ubisoft-planning-10-games-for-natal-4-to-5-for-playstation-mo/

Sweet have fun with all those wabbit games...Hey now....I actually like Raving Rabids....It's better than a lot of the other shovelware out there.Ha, take that SONY!
Natal will get two different Raving Rabbits games instead of one! That will show them.:P

No, you are right about that looking at other shovelware.
Although, I didn't mention the quality, just the quantity. :)
They also made a ton of games for the Wii's launch... and look how that turned out.

 oh jeez, i remember that, and i remember falling for it too. We were promised 7 games from them and in theory, it did actually look pretty good. I mean they promised a Far Cry game, Rayman game, Splinter Cell game, Red Steel (looked good at the time), a flight game among others. All bombed except one and that bombed because in the sense that it wasnt what everyone thought it would be, a rayman platformer.
Anyway i just did a quick search on a GS new article and here are some quotes by fans.
"Wow. Seven games. GO UBISOFT!!! This is indeed going to help the Wii sell very well, since everyone knows Ubisoft is the best third-party publisher (and developer) out there."
"Go Ubisoft! Why isn't anyone else following their example?! Rock on, Wii like it!"
"With Ubisoft bringing so much support to the Wii I can only dream of the possibilities: Rainbow Six franchise, Ghost Recon franchise, Splinter Cell franchise and amazingly the Prince of Persia franchise. Holy Crap!!"
"nice to see that at least one third party developer recognises the wii's potential"
"I don't see how a regular gamer is going to have to choose between Mario Galaxy, Far Cry, Metroid Prime 3, Red Steel, Elebits, Blazing Angles, Zelda Twilight Princess and the many others coming out at launch. "
aaaaaand finally from are very own KingTY back in 2006

I don't trust this....it seems like Ubi is cranking them out, I wonder if there is any stinkers in there."
Kinda freaky.

Wow, that's old.
That's funny too. I definitely seem to take the past of most resistance sometimes, and people really, really had different opinions back then.
I remember getting home with my Wii and checking all those games out too...just to be sure. Oh, Red Steel made me so mad, since that had the most potential.
You know, it's funny I didn't get caught up back in PRE SUPER HYPE WII LAUNCH back then, since I was looking forward to the Wii. I guess I am more apprensive than other gamers.
Oh, that is so funny though, Thanks for the memories.
because ubisoft don't like to work on 6th gen garbage technology of PS2badtakerMonkey Petz HD. Finally!
I'm staying optimistic that Sony or MS will somehow make a great game that combines both traditional controls and motion and make it epic.
Ok it will probably never happen, but a man can dream...
congrats to lemmings, this just such a monumental victory.InfiniteBlakIt's not uncommon for any system to get a ton of shovelware when something new comes out or it sells better. Look at how much is on the PS2 for example, as the PS3 sells better you will see more and more shovelware.
