Interesting sales xbox one sales have decreased compared to last year

I'd imagine super cheap Steam sales and Humble Bundles really helped the PC market share here.
Ubisoft games for humble bundle? I honestly can't remember the last major ubisoft steam sales but it mostly for their newer games.
@deathlordcrime: one of the last Humble Bundles was Ubisoft games.
I've also seen older Ubisoft games on sale on Steam a few times. If the break down is just for new games then I'm probably wrong but if it includes all Ubi games it makes sense that PC increased.

Older Ubisoft titles have always been on steam sales if that was the case you would have seen something similar last year Q1 but let's not forgot they are also on console as well. I think that might have been the Might&Magic bundle but seriously those games weren't high sellers.
No. Their percentage of sales compared to others have decreased, that doesn't mean that the total number of sales decreased.
@Blabadon:
Had there even been a Ubisoft Humble Bundle prior to the time of this chart?
I can't recall any ones recently that was insanely popular. And from what I recall the guy responsible for steamspy said steam sales or bundle don't drastically increase a game sales.
@deathlordcrime: @arunsunk: ah no I lied. I made a mistake, it was a Tom Clancy bundle.
That being said I went and bought it lol
That one is more recent my chart is older before september
Wish PC had lowest sales. All Ubisoft do these days is release rehashes. What's the point of sales when they are not even making PC specific games like they used to pre 2007. Meh.

There was a humble bundle about two weeks ago featuring most Tom Clancy games.
lol. ps4 with a <20 million install base outsells pc with an 800 million install base. this is somehow used as a reason for hermits to brag? whaaaaaat?
ALL pc are gaming pc

Being a distant 2nd place in worldwide gaming revenue sure does bring out the stupid jealousy posts that make NO sense what so ever.

I think you're missing the 9% drop on PS4 sales share, which isn't really a good thing from a 2 year old console with a growing user base. Conversely PC has increased by 9%, bit of a coincidence perhaps?

i can't imagine anything else doing it. PC gamers usually don't spend a lot of money on games

There was no major humble bundle from Ubisoft for the Q1 and they certainly didn't have ton of steam sales for their game during that time.

Most console gamers only buy second hand games meaning the developers/publishers don't see a penny, which is likely why they are showing large drops in the console share. (anyone can make unfounded presumptions)

Sergey Galyonkin from steamspy in general said steam sales do not equate to more revenue or sales most of the time on average. He did say steam summer sale had a bigger impact compared to all other sales in the year but that's wasn't during the Q1 so it holds no impact here.
@darkangel115: driver San Francisco last good game vi played from them makes me wonder why didn't they just make driver 6 instead of watch dogs

so they haven't made a good game in 4 years? probably longer for me. I can't even remember the last ubisoft game that I thought was "really good"

Don't forget they trade or sell most of their games after playing them for two days see how it goes

but they do sell cheap, and there's always green man and cd keys

And they don't have such sales on console ? I don't remember any major deals for GMG for Ubisoft during that time where you could have gotten their games for dirt cheap maybe a VIP discount for their newer titles. Someone buying a CD KEY from a reseller won't count as actual sales for Ubisoft because they don;t get the money.

Not true, most sales on day one come from console sales.

You missed his point he was trying to get at that anyone can make presumptions just like me saying most console copies are traded in the next day they were bought.
@DarthRamms: unless it's a game like COD you can actually finish in a day, there aren't many people who do that. I also back my argument up with facts. GTA V became the best selling game ever without a pc release. And look at SW, games are selling better on consoles like the PS4 than PC

I never said it was true but I do know a lot people who trade their games a few days after they played it and what does GTA V have to do with Ubisoft chart and you never mention any other games what?

What does this have to do with Ubisoft chart they release you talk about those

You mention GTA V and other "games" what does that have to do with Ubisoft.

Ok show me sales for all pc games and from what I read you originally stated most of ubisoft sales on pc were from steam sales and humble bundle when you didn't bring any evidence on that and Gar tried to make a point by doing the samething you did.
@The_Last_Ride: You completely missed what @GarGx1 was trying to come across. Your making presumption just what like what he did when you showed nothing to back up what you originally said and is straying off topic.

i didn't make the claim of all pc games, but the norm is that games on console sell better. Just look at the OP
