Or they're really good with money and understand the concept of "opportunity cost". I'm in my early 30s, have a Master's degree, work in IT, and have still never had a cell phone. I also have about 300k in investments and I didn't get there by wasting money.

If you had invested the $300 you paid for XBL in a large cap growth mutual fund that earned an average of 8% per annum, your $300 would have grown 10x ($3018.79) in 30 years. Frankly, I'd rather retire in my 50s than have cross party chat for my video games.

It should just be a thing people accept as something that sucks, like PSN going down for a month, crappy DLC (not all DLC) and mandatory installs.

XBL isn't fully P2P, it does use servers, also there are servers, also like IGN and other websites, Gold users get discounts, and stuff early.

so why does Sony need PSN+

wow...just reading through the thread and cows are really taking this one hard. spitting some serious venom on every page, which usually equates to severe bootyhurt. its down right nasty in here lol. damage control from some since the new rules has been downright offensive. but still funny to see cows meltdown in so many ways since the TOS change.
