uh-oh, FFXIII-2 could be looming....

S-E have sent out an art plate to all special members of their Japanese site. The art plate has the message "She must not be forgotten"

Of course this could just be a reference to her appearance in Dissidia 2 but lets use this thread to talk about a possible FFXIII-2.

I really hope this happens. FFXIIIs universe just seemed like it had alot of potential and Square just failed to capture this. It would be a shame if they left this and moved on to FFXV.

Now that they have many assets and with how the game ended, i would like to fully explore Pulse. Make the world similar to how it was in Nier (Speaking of Nier, did anyone else feel some sections were directly ripped from Pulse?). Combat can stay the same but i change in the vein of X to X-2 would be nice. If they were to set the game a few years after the end, we could have some towns to explore.

What would you guys want in a FXIII-2?

Haven't played XIII but it would be cool to see something like that, i kind of hate how Square forget his characters everytime a new FF comes out (FF7 excluded of course)

Not necessarily a bad thing, has pretty good potential if SE makes the right design choice.

A sequel would certainly help fill the fabula nova chart with the missing titles.... but I dont think we'll be getting an announcement soon tbh.

If it happens please make not as linear. I not asking for anoying huge maps like ff12,but something in the middle. Also if you can let us make our party much sooner then later. Besides that I think 13 is a great game.

Great, I loved Final Fantasy XIII, but felt a few gaps.

Thinking it should be a prequel for some reason though I don't know why.

FFXII was like this, with the Gambits but it remained an excellent title. FFX was linear as well in most case and it was still an excellent title. People are too stuck on their "it should be like the old ones!"

I wouldn't mind this, I've always thought FFXIII had potential to be much better, despite it's obvious flaws. I'm pretty sure SE said they would like to do a FFXIII-2 in an article somewhere.

Yea cause you know thats the only type of people who would like it :roll:. Though I will agree on vanilles voice. I cant agree on characters fighting for you since i never ever used auto attack. It never picked what I wanted to do.

Haha yeah i was just giving people who like the game a hard time :P I wanted to enjoy it, played 30 hours, got to Gran Pulse and gave up. I got really burned out by that point and really didn't like the game. Maybe I'll go back at some point.

I'd rather they just move on to a new universe and concentrate resources on FFXV.

Sounds good to me. I'd love to explore the world more.

I think it had much more potential than has been recognized and I wouldn't mind an rts like 12 had for the DS(maybe for 3DS).

Please move on. Not a single interesting character, and an even less interesting and confusing plot. Give us XV...

I'd rather see them do FFXV.

FFXIII is definitely a game I'd like to see them remake 10 years from now except with a major plot overhaul.

Yea I dont get this at all. I didint feel hope VA messed anything up. They way he reacted and looked matched the voice. I dont know why snow was a bad character. Hes the geniral never give up character and keep pushing forward with a hint of being naive since nothing is never really that easy. Thats how I see it at least.

Snow was an awful character, I wanted to kill myself everytime he yelled "SERAH!"

And I don't understand the Vanille hate, she's your typical perky FF girl, just like Rikku and Yuffie for example...

square is bad with sequels...

FFX-2 ruined FFX's ending quite bad.
