UK charts - Crash is the new GTA5, and GOW still charting.

I beat GTAV and the controls are wonky, especially for planes. It made certain missions infuriating. And anything that required precise shooting, like the final mission, should be hung until dead.

Oh yes it so different from MK8 on the Wii U.

You know RDR2 is going to be #1 for a few weeks.

While I don't personally care whether or not the best selling games are multiplats or exclusives, I do think that you are being unfair to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe here.

There are ways that Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is very different than Mario Kart 8 on the Wii U. The biggest and most important of which is that it has an entirely different battle mode which is far better than the crappy battle mode that was in the Wii U version.

There are two halves to Mario Kart: racing and battle. The battle half of the game was completely different and for many people, battle mode is their favorite half of Mario Kart when it's done well. I'm among the people whose favorite half of Mario Kart is battle mode when it's done well, so for me and other battle mode lovers, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe felt like a brand new game thanks to it's brand new battle mode alone, and that doesn't even need to take into account all of the other changes and additions. So saying that Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is not very different than Mario Kart 8 on the Wii U is not fair when at least half of the game is different.

N-Sane trilogy was my first complete Crash experience, all the other ones were at friends and family's houses when I was a kid cause I never had a PS1.

Playing through all the games confirmed to me they are average games at best that lack tight controls and can be extremely frustrating. But hey I beat them all in 5 weeks.

That said- they should be an example to others for how to do and price remasters right.

Crash still charting is surprising never expected to go anywhere near the numbers it has. Just shows there's still a market for platformers.

Mario Kart is also a game anyone can play and not an M rated game like GOW. Just the fact GOW on a single platform can be on the charts for so long despite being M rated is an honor in itself. I am pro multi-platform games. I want you and any other gamer to be able to play any game regardless of your platform choice. What is even better than multi-platform games is the Xbox Play Anywhere concept. Buy a game once and play it on a variety of platforms with just one purchase. A pipedream at the moment.

I own all the system because I want to play any game regardless of the platform but the need to have multiple redundant hardware is simply stupid because of fanboys.

Disagree. The controls are no good, the animations are inefficient, the story is forgettable and has no likable characters, the open world feels like a waste and the multiplayer always bores me. I liked San Andreas and GTA IV when they were still the latest GTAs. V felt lazy and didn't change things up enough.
