ULTIMATE CONSOLE WARS: Xbox 360 vs PS3 vs Wii, The Thread To End The War!!!

Okay, so I've decided to do a real console wars thread here. All three consoles will be listed. The following are the rules that I've followed while compiling the list:

• All three consoles qualify.
• Downloadable titles are not eligible for this list.
• Compilations and re-releases (like Metroid Prime Trilogy or God of War Collection) are not eligible.
• This list is confined to exclusive titles only. However, if a game can be played on the Xbox 360 and the PC, but not on the PS3 and Wii, or if a game can be played on the PS3 and PSP, but not on the other two consoles, or if a game can be played on the Wii and DS, but not on the other two consoles, it qualifies for this list. The reasoning is that is if a gamer can play a game on the 360 which a PS3 owner cannot play, then that is a point in his favour. The same reasoning applies to the other two consoles as well.
• If a game is released on only one current gen console, but was also released on any last gen console as well, it will not qualify, since this thread is about console exclusivity.
• The top 10 games listed on Metacritic for each system which follow the above rules have been featured on this list.

The PS3 list owns massively. The 360 is basically multiplats and repeating IP's over and over again. The Wii just isn't my thing. Keep it up Sony, loving what I'm getting this gen.

Actually ,no. The spreadsheet only includes PC games since this gen started and even then the PC wins with most AAA,AA and A games.

As for this list, it makes me realize why I own all the consoles.

Your list lacks many good games.

Anyway, i prefer 360´s lineup, controller and online. Im also glad that it´s the safest console to play most multiplats.

Nice impressive list, I think you did a great job of organizing and more importantly I think this really shows the high quality that is actually on each console...ultimately though the 360s list beats out the PS3s just a bit mainly because of Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2, but yeah again to re-iterate this clearly lays out some of the high quality titles that each system boasts and in the end I think they are all pretty impressive lists.

Easily the PS3. Though you didn't quite show the 10 best PS3 games, or the 10 best Wii games. You were missing Twilight Princess and IDK for PS3, but I doubt MLB 10 the Show would be there ... :S

Also TC according to SW MLB isn't exclusive so take that out and put something else.

list makes me think the wii and ps3 are good combo but no muramasa on the wii list is fail and your missing i think 1 or 2 ps3 exclusives should replace ratchet with infamous because its not AAA herecoltgames

this is how I see it, progression

the first Xbox sold 25 million units in its debut generation, outselling the Nintendo GameCube, as the PlayStation 2 ruled that console generation

this generation, the Xbox 360 is growing beyond the success of the first generation, while Sony is losing ground to Nintendo's market dominance, now Sony is competing neck and neck with Microsoft, which is a much different position than last generation

however, even though Nintendo sells lots of consoles, it has not been to the benefit of 3rd party publishers and developers, rather both the Xbox 360 and PS3 are great systems for these outside publishers, and it's showing

anyhow, the Xbox 360 and PS3 don't really have many exclusives between them, most of my games in my collection are multiplatform titles, but I still get the exclusives for each and every system whether X360, PS3 or Wii

plus, look at the features this generation that will carry on into future ones, Microsoft mainstreamed their XBL service and we can thank most console multiplayer games to the introduction of this, now even Sony has it too so this is a feature that'll probably be around forever, as well as XBLA gamer marketplace, now Sony and Nintendo have the same thing, and now there's Netflix (thanks again Microsoft), and HDDs on consoles for updates and expansions (thanks Microsoft), and they also introduced DRM transfers, which I like over Sony's 5 downloads limit, and Nintendo's no transfer limits, I have to say though I'm not a fan of the absolute replacement of wire controllers on any console, we can thank Sony though for Blu-ray, and Blu-ray will likely be on the next Xbox and maybe the next Wii, plus we now have cross game party chat options, friends lists, game invites, network media hubs, features Microsoft has worked at bringing to the front with Sony slightly behind, Nintendo has really only given us avatars and motion controls, something that'll probably go away with time

I have to really give it to Microsoft this generation for making the bigger impact in gaming, the PS3 is still a good system, in fact you can't go wrong getting one or the other, but if anybody has really lead the pace of things it'sMicrosoft

They're really not.

I dunno what to tell you. Omitting a system doesn't make the game exclusive in System Wars, as the PC is a part of this "war".
