PS3, followed by the Wii. Xbox is a distant third as it is hard to inlude a box with faulty hardware.
PS3 and Wii have the best games of this generation.
PS3 is the only console this generation with next gen graphics.
PS3 plays Blu Rays.
Wii has Mario and Zelda.
Xbox doesn't really work. I cannot believe people are so willing to fork out money for a product with major design flaws.

Wow, if the Xbox360 is that bad, you would think it would be dead last in sales...Oh wait...And the failure rate is so low now, so there's not much of a point in bashing a console of something they fixed.
My 360 is fine : \ I can leave it on pretty much all day if I so wished. In regards to the points Heirren made.... 1) a faulty hardware issue doesn't detract from the quality of the software. That's like saying PC gaming sucks because mine can barely run anything.... 2) That is opinion, and seeing as 'best games' are subjective. If you were referring to AAAA's, then 360 has a 10 also. 3) This is just flat out incorrect. Especially when upcoming multiplats rival PS3 exclusives easily, and Gears 3 looks on par also. 4) Finally, a statement and not opinion! 5) Correct. But then 360 has Halo and Gears, etc etc. etc. - irrelevant point to make when all have big franchises. 6) Referred to that earlier, but if it was so broken - it shouldn't be selling more than PS3. Unless of course consumers prefer broken hardware to Sony's offering? :P (I joke PS3 owners, but you get my point). next time try to use a bit more logic?I am using logic. First I should state that the OP is somewhat silly--can't include 360 Arcade titles? Geometry wars is actually one of my favorite games this gen. Allow me to make some more logical points.
-Blu Ray means the Playstation will sustain the entirety of this generation. With more impending price drops, the value just continues to go up for the ps3, and down for the 360 because buying a separate box to play blu rays would be necessary.
-I just bought a ps3 about 6 months ago. I will honestly tell you I did not care for the PS2. I felt it was filled with mediocre games. I bought a 360 in 2006. I'm far from a Sony fanboy. However, when you spend $400 on a machine that has major design flaws, it makes the console less attractive. I'm aware most multiplatform games are visually better on the 360(though ps3 audio is miles ahead), but I find it hard to support a platform not knowing if it is going to work, from month to month. I didn't have this mentality until my console Red Ringed, but I still feel it is warranted to factor its reliability into the mix.
-Kinect is just STUPID. Yes, I said stupid, because it is. For the xbox fans that supported the original machine over the ps2, it is almost a slap in the face to xbox gamers to, 2/3 through the generation, alienate the core audience for the most part.
-Xbox Live has become an overblown social networking site. Make it about the games please. All that other junk gets in the way. Instead of adding facebook/myspace/and all that bs, how about innovating the Xbox Live system with gaming in mind. I much prefered the orginal xbox Live setup.
-PS3 IS the only console with the next gen audio/visual experience. There's more to the experience than a couple lines of resolution and a couple different shaders. The PS3 offers top of the line video AND audio. The xbox audio setup is compressed to $hi*. Using a 360 for years, and then eventually buying a ps3, the audio is like going from a 96kb/s mp3, to a nicely mastered vinyl.
-All the ps3 exclusives like Mass Effect are better on the PC.
