xbox360 gpu was made ground up for xbox360 it has elements of directx10 gpu's but it's not a true dx10 gpu because the api wasnt finished at the time...it's a dx9+ gpu..

ps3's gpu is a watered down pc gpu 7800 gtx from 2005 only dx9 support...but sony uses open gl api instead of directx9 on rsx because dx9 is made by microsoft.

in order words ps3 gpu is outdated as crap compared to xbox360s.
