Fact: I don't own game and I never said I did. I would never pay $60 for a questionable game like this (68/100 metascore).

Fact: I have a Gold Sub and I confirmed it's not $9. In fact, people are angry about this and are making a fuss on other websites. Some gamers went and bought Xbox Live money cards and can't buy the game for $9.

Bottomline, I'm trying to help out users. Lords is not $9 (anymore or whatever) nor is it listed in this sale and the TC should know and future users should know this game isn't part of this sale or this price listed. I only aimed to prevent people from being misled. You are just acting out for fanboyism sake.

IT WAS at 9 earlier maybe it was error or something all we know is that people said they already have boughten at that price and have it at that price so if it was a mistake well it looks like they are still keepin that game for that price an microsoft takes the loss or whatever

@SolidTy: Looks like it may be dependent on region. Many have purchased it at that price. Some are saying itll be up this weekend along with the MCC at 60% off. Others said the price reverted after a quota was met.

Just picked up an Xbox One this evening so I was looking forward to the deals. Just not enough there to warrant purchasing anything yet; possible Lords of the Fallen at $9 if it comes back.

Yeah, ok, Lords of the Fallen isn't on sale anymore, and I concede. However, it's good that I managed to nab it. Anyway now I'd like to apologize to Solid Ty because now both sales are equally unremarkable.

Thanks TC for the heads up. I did see LoTF for $9 but I skipped it because the gameplay videos I saw didn't really interest me. I believe it was that price for like 12 hours, other gaming deals sites explains what happened. I did however grabbed a couple of other deals that I'm happy with. I don't usually expect anyone to post deals on GameSpot and GameSpot isn't the first place I look for deals because by the time it's posted here it's probably too late. But I'm glad deals are posted here even if some seem to moan and whine about digital game prices and how they can't trade, sell or lend them, stuff like that. Also when deals are posted here in SW, I expect more talk of which sale is better rather than what's being offered instead. Those that keep listing stuff and prices and comparing random flash sales for no reason really sticks out like a sore thumb lol. Anyway thanks for the heads up once again.

So wait? Is the Lords of the Fallen $9 thing a store glitch or mistake that has now been fixed? Because I can vouch for getting it for $9 right after the sale went live. Can't check the store to see what the discount version goes for since it won't display price since I now own it, however I can confirm not seeing it as part of the sale page. Hmm, looks like it might have been a mistake. Anyhow, thankfully Sniper Elite III being $10 wasn't a mistake and I could still get that too.

EDIT: Okay, read some articles on it, looks as if it wasn't supposed to be part of the sale, though the game publisher said that it was supposed to get a discount. Maybe there was a miscommunicated plan on offering it cheap sometime in near future. I guess keep your eyes out for that deal if it should come again. Anyhow, glad I got it when I did.

I didn't say it was a big deal, that's just another assumption on your part. This forum is dead and you were among the users telling people to wait and here we are. It was taken down in all the regions from what I gathered days ago, it was a glitch/miscommunication that went live temporarily and there is a lot of people upset. Some bought Xbox money cards and the deal was gone. Hopefully, it appears this weekend, but after being told to wait till yesterday, I have little confidence it will appear anytime soon.

As far as my take? I have Xbox money that will expire soon and this was the only game that was incredibly cheap, everything else is too pricey for a "sale" imo. If the damn Xbox funds didn't expire, I would just sit on it and not worry. However, I have a limited time table to spend or lose it. It's not the end of the world, but I was correct and I was told to wait and I knew they were going to be wrong, I bided my time and presto. Dunno why you defend these kinds of screw ups. Oh wait...

Although the game isn't the best game in the world (68/100 metascore, 71 on PC), it was a great price for sure. It is good that you managed to grab it if you wanted it.

Glad I nabbed it just in the nick of time and didn't hesitate. Maybe I learned my lesson after I let Outlast slip through my fingers during the Countdown Sale.

Yeah, I got Outlast for free with PS+ back in Jan 2014, but it was a good price if I hadn't already gotten it.

I did watch every single day of those Xbone Xmas 2014 deals though. I wish there was a way to stop my Xbox money from expiring or I wouldn't be too fussed about it. Onto the next sale, I guess, haha.

The only game I would get is Alien Isolation. I just bought Far Cry 4 for cheap, I still need to finish Dragon Age, and I still have loads to do in MCC.

Picked up Destiny and Styx during the sale. Only spent $40 on Destiny and $7 on Styx. Good sale.
