Ultra Street Fighter IV officially announced

Here is a link to the Gamespot trailer. The game was just snnounced before the extremely exciting Super Street Fighter IV Arcade edition 2012 Evo finals started about a couple hours ago. (the blank space above is my attempt at embedding)

-The game is available in early 2014 and will include balancing tweeks to the existing roster as well as 5 new characters and 6 new stages. Also there are new unannounced modes included.

-The game will be available as $15 DLC for your existing Super Street Fighter IV or Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition or at the full retail price of $39.99

This will probably net me hundreds of more hours gameplay. One of the deepest and engaging gaming experiences of this generation just got more interesting.

It's not a good reason to avoid playing what's already out, with the exception of not being interested in it.

Well, I guess this is good for me as I never bought a version of SF IV yet. Capcom should work on Street Fighter V though.nintendoboy16

What you could do to save $15 immediately is to buy Super Street Fighter 4 (not arcade edition) for $10 and buy the DLC update for $15 when it comes out so it's only $25 for Ultra.

None of the new characters interest me, I've played the f*ck out of Rolento in SFxT, sure they'll be a nice addition but no must haves.

I woulda liked to see some characters we haven't seen in awhile rather than straight SFxT ports, needless to say I'll still be buying it.

Ill just wait for the year 2034 when capcom releases "ultra super mega beefed up critical street fighter 4.9999 the 17th strike awesome limited collectors rare combat edition". I heard when it comes out it will have 3 few skinned fighters and a new map! Oh and ryu will have an alternate off white colored shirt!

SON-OF-A! I thought I waited long enough before purchasing Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition... :P

The funny thing is that a keyboard might actually be better than a gamepad for fighters because of their closeness to a fightstick, but then again people keep saying that PS3 is the better console for fighters because of the D-pad. Here's a newsflash people, fighting game players use fightsticks to play fighters about 95% of the time. The default controller has nothing to do with it.
