because people think controllers aren't a thing on PC.[QUOTE="BrunoBRS"][QUOTE="rjdofu"] Why?Pikminmaniac
The funny thing is that a keyboard might actually be better than a gamepad for fighters because of their closeness to a fightstick, but then again people keep saying that PS3 is the better console for fighters because of the D-pad. Here's a newsflash people, fighting game players use fightsticks to play fighters about 95% of the time. The default controller has nothing to do with it.
I don't think so. Those who use arcade sticks are mostly pro fighter or really enthusiastic fighting fans, those are no where near the overall amount of fighting game players. Even at Evo, there're still people using regular controller like DS2/3 or Madcatz. The mass majority of casual fighter don't give a damn about that though. At best they only know that dualshock 3 D-pad is better than 360 controller D-pad, some don't even care. And some people need to know the thing about PC is that you can pretty much plug and play any type of controllers and the game will work just fine: keyboard, controller, arcade stick, etc, the choice is ours.[QUOTE="XVision84"]
F***ing Crapcom, this is why I don't buy any of your games.

Yeah, supporting a competitive game sucks.
Releasing the same game 3 times does suck, yep.

Capcom has been doing this since SF2.
Oh I know, I just love calling them out for it everytime they do it :P.

I don't get it.
I'm not complaining about the game, heck Starcraft is decades old and still has a lot of attention.
I'm just against Capcom's business practices.Â

Just be glad Capcom didn't pull a Super or Ultimate on us.
(games that should have been DLC, but were released as separate games instead.)

Very true, it's better than their usual stunts.
Jeebus. I'm suddenly reminded of SF2 back in the arcades.
First it was just Street Fighter 2.
Then Turbo edition.
Then Hyper Fighting edition.
Then Tournament...
or some such thing that Capcom went on with, just reiterating number 2, over and over.
History repeats itself
This is stupid, make a new game, learn how to make complete games, and learn how to finish whole projects Capcom. Is there going to be a Hyper Penile super Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 next?TigerSuperman
The Street Fighter series is community-driven, so you will never see a "complete" SF game until the next iteration. It's only complete when the community says so. There's no point waiting if you want to play it.
There won't be a new Marvel 3 of any kind since the license between Capcom and Marvel expired and no one wants to renew it. It's part of the reason why UMvC3 came out so fast.

And each of these versions had enough new things throw into that it almost felt worth it even if you already owned the previous version. ;)

Releasing new characters and improving the game on a competitive level isn't releasing the same game 3 times.

Don't even try man, most of the people complaining are ignorant b!tches. In all honesty the game pretty much feels the same since SF2. Probably because if they actualy tried to improve anything fans will feel betrayed, seriously, try saying "streamlining" or "accesable" or "3D Space" and coming out unscathed . Its like that with all of the Capcom games.atleast now its available as DLC. . . . . . . yes, we've reached the stage where we're thankfull for DLC (or should I say the option for a DLC Alternitive) !

I am a biased opinion since I haven't touched a regular controller since the Walking Dead game last year. The joystick is necessity of the fighting game, yet there is also a precision to be had from the regular controller as well. Please Log In to post.
