Since I play with you, are you saying I'm a noob?

I do prefer TF2 though, but it's a good thing to be able to play both. I don't like matchmaking at all though.

I don't doubt that, but if it was such a noobfest, any skilled gamer would pretty much be over lvl 50 and winning national tourneys, since it was so simple a noob could do it.

What I am getting at is most people who call a game simple or noobish just don't like the style of game and feel that they need to justify that opinion with something. And I am not just talking about Mingo or Halo 3. I've seen it from many people about many games, including some pretty popular PC games.

Im glad lemmings like a game thats much much better on the pc.

Why is it better?

Dedicated servers = more players and less lag (i know more players =/= more fun but more options = more fun)
mingo was complaining about lag, right here on system wars

According to IGN :
There is no deathmatch in TF2 and with each cl@ss having unique skills, there is an emphasis on teamwork. Going solo isn't going to help you win a Control Points battle on a map like the Well. While PC gamers are often good at playing nicely together, that's not always the case with console owners. So this teamwork requirement could turn games ugly on Xbox Live. That's not Valve's fault in any way; it's just the nature of console gaming. That's why a deathmatch option would have actually benefited the objective-based games -- since those who want team play can group together and leave others to mindless mayhem.

All six maps in TF2 are fun to play so long as you have at least eight people in a match. But I question the longevity of TF2 multiplayer. Will people be playing the same maps, with the same game types in six months? There are also some performance issues. I've had some big matches that ran just fine, but other matches (even ones with only four players) that were plagued by lag. Without a strong connection from the host, TF2 has some issues. When things run smoothly (and gamers aren't acting like idiots), TF2 is among the best multiplayer options on 360. It's ridiculously fun.

Even team xbox thinks Xbox live online gameplay sucks.

Why don't you come over here and say that to my face tough guy? BONK!!! I'm just playing. Halo 3 is still a great game, it's just that TF2 is just really fun with the team work and different classes you can choose.

BONK!!!

The lags apparently getting sorted or has been by now. I have no lag playing with my friends, he has a great connection.

As a PC gamer, you know things like this gets fixed. I would give WiC 2/10 with all the glitches and problems when it first came out, it's worth 9/10 now it's been patched.

I cannot play it in the morning, because there are too few skilled players, but right around 7 pm my time, it gets much more challenging, and lasts into the wee hours of the morning.

When there are good people on and you get matched with people at your skill level, Halo 3 is a challenge.

I tried TF2, and I really wanted to love it, but after all this talk about it being so team based and "smart" I was sorely let down. No one talked in any game I played, no one played as a team, there was no semblance of organization, it was "spawn with the heavy or spy, run out, shoot, dies, and respawn, then repeat ad nauseum".

We all know how fantastic TF is on 360 when it comes to lag.

Either way, at least you do have a good choice in MP games.

I am a Captain Grade 2 because of EXP taken from any game type. I am a level 31 because I win in Team Slayer more than I lose.

lag free games aint hard to find now :D

mingo123

Yet less common than every PC server being virually lag free.

Never the less its undeniable the PC version rips the 360 version. You may not like modifications + more players, but it offers a huge variety of control schemes, better audio and visuals, not to mention VOiP communitcaion

Either way the 360 version is still great, and one of the best MP games - if not the best teamplay MP game for teh system.

Yet less common than every PC server being virually lag free.

Either way its undeniable the PC version rips the 360 version. You may not like modifications + more players, but it offers a huge variety of control schemes, better audio and visuals, not to mention VOiP communitcaion

Either way the 360 version is still great, and one of the best MP games - if not the best teamplay MP game for teh system.

perfectly fine with current control scheme on 360 + i prefer console gaming so for me TF2 on 360 >>> TF2 on PC

Never the less your opinion does not = fact.

Fact is you can use a 360 controller with your PC.

Fact is PC TF2 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 360 version.

Still I cant go about changing your personal preferance.

good for you, barely any skill required to level up in halo 3 :)

mingo123

Funny to see so few people above 35 then. Especially since the leveling system has now just started to flatten and even out.

Nope.

ISPs host the servers to cater to what their customers want.

Heck most of the servers are ISP hosted, and ISPs duke it out for the most servers, with the best bandwith, so there is alway a nice selection.

Halo 3's leveling up (EXP not the skill which you get in ranked matchs) depends on ur team, win a team slayer match you get 1 point, lose a team slayer match nothing happens, simple as that, play as many team slayer matches as you can and you will win in some no matter what, also alot of people cheat in halo 3 nowadays anyway
