This is what Crysis really looks like at 1920*1080, maxed out (actually it's CCC mod level 5 which looks better than vanilla maxed), no AA.
It's playable but fps can go as low as 20 on an I7 920 and a GTX285 (The best single core gfx card available till recently).
Bottom line: Crysis is a good looking game but it does show it's age a bit and many many many pictures of it (including ones in this thread) are bullshots (in the sense that you actually do need a bazillion$ rig to make them playable while looking like that).

I have a hard taking "max settings" Crysis screenshost seriously when they don't even have Anisotropic Filtering enabled..

Warhead would have looked awesome had it not been for the pop-in.....
