Uncharted 2 and GOW 3 pictures - no bullshots

I'd just like to see some pics that aren't bullshots, google is clogged with bullshots. No I'm not gonna compare it with Crysis.

yep. almost everything runs at 40+ fps. the more epic scenes with very big environments dip down to around 30+ fps though.

yea..but you need to play the game to know it looks like that. anyone who says those are bullshots haven't played the game. and no, Youtube vids can't justify the graphics. a 40+fps video game viewed on youtube looks different to a 40+fps game viewed inside your living room.

I have both UC2 aswell as GoW3. I think UC2 looks better, but that might be due to the incredible scale of GoW3 which obviously presents some limitations. There's just alot more detail to be seen in UC2, but I have never played a game of epic scale as GoW3 I think. Both incredible games.

It's therefor quite sad to see a rehash, quick-cash like Halo 3 ODST score just/nearly as high as these games, I think alot of ciritisism for the score it got comes solely from this game which basicly made 9.0 look like a 7.0.

you want gameplay with HUD? be sure to watch in HD. still, this video does not do the game justice.

I havent played god of war 3 but from what i remember of the old one the HUD would disappear if you werent using magic or getting healed

This one is real, I agree, but it has a few jaggies, they are just hard to notice on a still screen. And now that I examined one by one the pics posted up, I think a few of them are real too (2nd, 9th and 10th).

Anyway, the game looks great, and even the small imperfections it has are almost imperceptible in motion.

That picture reminds me of the snow level in perfect dark zero.

i can atest that those pics aren't bullshots, GOW 3 really does look that good. I finished the game and even platinumed it. I was so surprised at how detailed it was. If I was to choose between Uncharted 2 and GOW 3, I would have to think for all eternity.

The GOW 3 demo used 2xAA, but the final version uses MLAA on the on the Cell's SPUs to create the effect of 16xAA. So jaggies are virtually non existent :D

No, this is far from x16 AA, look at the titan's head against the sky - there's noticable aliasing.

Um no maybe if you play the game instead of calling bullshots you would open your eyes to see that those are indeed real shots. I will even post some of my own shots if I need to prove you wrong. :P

God of War 3 looks better than anything I've seen posted here so far. Just play it.

As for Uncharted 2, these are MULTIPLAYER pictures that I took from the BETA.

Obviously the full game looks better, but these at least give you an idea.

In my opinion, environment wise, GOW3 is better, it just looks so polished and neat.

Character details wise, I think UC2 is better,,Kratos is well detailed but other characters, like the old lady "Hera" I think, she was kinda ugly.

Except for the really bad textures, the game looks amazing.

People calling bullshots probably have not played this game themselves. GOW3 and U2 are the best looking console games...easily.

The game looks identical to what Ive seen in trailers, so I dont know whats the matter with most of you. Tied for best looking game on ps3 (uncharted 2) in my eyes.

I LIKE HOW THE GAME LOOKS. HOWEVER, I ALSO DON'T LIKE TO BE DECEIVED.

Please tell me that you don't think those two are the same:

The left one is pixel perfect - look at it. It has no flaws whatsoever. This is NOT A REAL TIME frame. It's using the game engine but it has been rendered at much higher resolution than HD and has been scaled down - a.k.a. Super Sampling Anti Aliasing.

I don't know what's a matter with people. Just play the damn thing if you're so eager to see it for yourself. This game has NO JAGGIES. I just beat the a few days ago and this game didn't have jaggies. No I'm not exaggerating at all. That's why screenshots happen to look like bullshots. GoW III literally runs at 40 bullshots per second...

I think the scale distracts some people. It's a great looking game, but not UC2 level. Most fo the game looks rather bland, aside from some amazing set pieces.

If you dont press any button except the analogs for a while, the hud dissapears. :roll:
