Uncharted 2 'didn't redefine action games'

U2 is a really good game cant think of an action game that comes close to it honestly

Depends what you're comparing. UC2 takes it's cast seriously, and in doing so failssince they're so boring. Nathan reminds me of pretty much anyone Harrison Ford has ever played,Gears' Cast is just meatbags wearing cars, But Cole is funny, so they get the edge.

Harrison Ford is an excellent actor, and Han Solo etc are excellent. It's not a "bad" thing. I just find it very boring now.

He's most well-known for Firefly. I'll be honest, I've never seen it, but I've heard good things.

Wow, check this out: I just found out that Greg Edmonson did the soundtrack for both Firefly *and* Uncharted series! The comparisons don't end lol.

You know what? To end all the comparisons... Drake is literally Nolan North :|. Like, that's the dude's personality in real life. That's why Nolan loves the Uncharted franchise. During UC1 development, ND told him to be himself, thus Drake was born!TREAL_Since

Yeah you're right, he is like that in interviews and everything as well.

I'm just pointing out that his character is much more similar to "Malcolm Reynolds" than anything Ford has done.

I'm going to pick up Killzone 2 soon (it's a greatest hits now!) and I'm hoping that you guys are right because gunplay in an FPS is very important to me (I use to play CS:S a lot). I have BC2 already so I know the gunplay it has. Uncharted 2's is also nice for a TPS.

Also, don't go into Kilzone 2 expecting a great story or characters. They took standard shooter elements and refined them mostly. It's fun and satisfying technical eye candy more than anything (single player).
