Wait until you reach the boat level or the desert level before judging U3 graphics. U2 graphics are great no doubt about it but I think U3 was a better game both at graphics as in gameplay

Uncharted 3 has technically more advanced visuals but U2 has better artistic visuals I think. Also I much prefer snow environments to sand ones so U2 wins in my book every time regardless.
It is a very nice looking game. just wish consoles didn't have to render it lower and hide some details. I would love to see uncharted run at native 1080p and 60 fps.
You never answered my question in my thread.

Uncharted is the most advanced and best looking game I have ever seen, it outshines every other game out there. Only games that come close are God of War and Killzone.
But more importantly is that Uncharted plays amazing. I feel bad for those who don't own a PS3, they don't know what they are missing out on. Uncharted is one of the best games period, to not be able to play it is a shame. I wish everyone could play the game, everyone needs to play it.

Sure, i can't wait to reach these desert levels.
The only way I can capture singleplayer screens in UC2 is through my DVD recorder and only in SD resolution. But, I like the Urban Warfare level in UC2:

Actually, my DVD recorder captures in 720x480. But, when using SD resolution, the PS3 games had big black bars on top and bottom. I had to trim them off.

The most boring level ever put in a video game. Completely squandered potential.@fend_oblivion But i don't understand the reasone for doing this? They could have made her look little older so it would show she has aged but instead they made her look weird somehow. Elena is no the only thal looks little bit off, there is also Chloe Frazer. Looks to me like the first picture is from an in game screen shot and the second is an advertisement bullshot.
I still think Uncharted 3 is great and ND patched the aiming. A few things I didn't like were:
The end of the game is recycled from Uncharted 2, Elena wasn't in it that much, and Marlowe was wasted potential as a villain, also, there were a lot of plot holes
U2 has much better gameplay than U3. I think it has to do with the aiming. The aiming in U3 just didn't feel right, whereas in U2 if felt perfect.
And I agree with Elena. They changed her character too much in U3.

The game got great when Elena showed up. The first 3rd was a bit underwhelming, and I was rather dissapointed, then when it transitioned to the area with Elena the game got downright epic. Some of the best firefights and puzzles in Uncharted. Unfortunately it was a bit less polished, had the slow beginning, adn such. I think it is a 9 for me. Uncharted 2 is overall a better game.
How does Talbot know Marlowe? Why does he care so much about her? Does Talbot have some sort of supernatural connection? It seemed to be implied when he could just disappear. Of course, that could just be good spy training. Also, what is Drake's real name? Marlowe seemed to imply that Drake was something that he picked up on.
I like where this is going
Terrible plot-making on the Queen and Sires, but that was more of Gears 2 just having a downright awful story. Gears 3 should have filled these up though, agreed. As for the locusts, they may have an origin in the comics (although I would never say this is a valid excuse for any game), but they were just underground beings that attacked one day. I thought they went above ground so they don't go Lambent because of Imulsion. They were far more interesting in the first game though. I can't remember when Baird got the disc. Did Anya give it to him?
My main problem with Gears 3's story is the ending. At the ending of the first two, you make a significant dent in the Locust force whereas in the third you end in a manner that makes the first two games seem irrelevant. Should I list a few of my Uncharted 3 plot point complaints?

danjin44
That's a pretty big change to the character. She doesn't even look like the same person. I think the more feminine UC3 Elena is prettier tho.

Uncharted 2 had a cliche but well told story ("well told" for anyone lurking who's going to call me out on anything) that had a bad guy with motivations that aren't silly and one that doesn't attempt to open a can of worms without closing it. 3's is boring. How does Talbot know Marlowe is irrelevant, why he cares so much about her is irrelevant. These are sub-plots that are never explained because that's not the story the game is trying to tell and to keep things simple. We see a young Marlowe once but that's because that's when everything started for Nathan and Sully.
Talbot doesn't appear or disappears, he makes use of a drug to deceive people. They just never say what kind of drug it is to keep the story simple.
What Marlowe says about Drake not being who he says he is is because Drake is not his real last name. That's the name from the orphanage he comes from. Marlowe was just making fun of Drake's situation as an orphan.
Elena and Nathan were never married, they were engaged. The separation was due to Drake still pursuing dangerous archaeological adventures while Elena wanted a more quite life away from so much danger.
Uncharted has no plot holes because the story is just too simple. Or do you consider the Joker on The Dark Knight to be a plot-hole because they never tell his origin? I mean, don't you people complain about Metal Gear games for having too much back story? On Metal Gear games they explain every single thing (that's why it has long cut-scenes) and between games that causes plot holes like the one right at the beginning of MGS4 when Snake grabs a random gun lying on the floor to shoot at one of the Gekkos. Why is this plot hole? Because in the world of MGS4 every gun comes with an ID mechanism and if you don't have the correct one you just can't use the gun but on that cut-scene Snake could use the gun to shoot at the Gekko. Now this is a plot-hole.
One of the reasons I thought UC2 was better than UC3 was this charmer of a level. It's nice to have a break in the action and actually do some adventuring. The train levels were pretty grueling to me. I was happy to see this level.

It's not irrelevant at all. The guy is flat out bananas about Marlowe. Why? Who are these people? Uncharted 1 had villains that were more grounded in reality and Uncharted 2 had a typical, but not stupid warlord. Why is Marlowe such a bad villain (I'm starting to hate spoiler tags)?
The rich b!tch acts all badass with her henchmen, but for some reason they don't kill Cutter? They let him escape. Why are they going for some type of LSD when they already have some, are rich and can buy more, or can find a similar product? Not to mention in one part when someone does something (you'll remember) to him and he's still alive, there's no explanation outside of Hennig's Twitter. Terrible storytelling. Why even bring up such a point for two seconds (about Marlowe "making fun" of Drake) and then not explore it? Hey guys, Batman's actually female who was born black and... Want to know more? Screw you! They shouldn't have added this if they weren't going to explore. The relationship is so poorly explained that you're just adding further speculation, not facts. I agree that these aren't plot holes, just terribly told story elements that plague Uncharted 3.One of the reasons I thought UC2 was better than UC3 was this charmer of a level. A lot of devs need to remember that keeping action up all the time is not always a good thing. In games like Diablo, it is fun to go back to town and take care of business. Just grinding through the game gets old usually. Having variety and a break in action is something many games fail to achieve.

Maybe someone should tell the COD devs, they seem to be scared that the player's might get distracted by the sunligth creeping through the curtains, so everyhting in the game must be exploding, all the time. always
