uc 2 is excellent!!! i finished it last night and i gotta say best game this gen so far!!! but it didnt ruin gaming for me i still had fun playing tekken 6 today even though i couldnt get through a whole online match (without getting disconeced) so i stuck to single player:P

mgs4 was excellent as well but not on uc2s level!! i havent played a game longer than 3 hours straight since gow2 and yesterday i did 11hrs. without eating!!! since 12pm to 11pm!!! (very addictive game)

Games like Deus Ex and Planescape: Torment ruined gaming for me. None of these new games can deliver narratives like that, I tell ya. Uncharted 2 has a pretty good story, though, but nothing new.

MGS4 was an amazing game, and the fact it was the last console game to feature Solid Snake made it all that much more special... but Uncharted does the story telling much better in my opinion.
I mean, how can any other game deliver such an amazing story! So many jaw dropping moments!!!! I already know that most games I play are going to seem awful in comparison. How often does a computer game genuinely make you laugh out loud? The production values of this game are the highest I have every seen... MGS4 looks like childs play in comparison.
Seriously, If you dont own a ps3 yet, buy one for this game!!! Then take it back if you really can't handle swapping to the dark side!
Uncharted 2 is awesome. However, I don't see how it ruined gaming. I mean, the time I have spent with it, I have enjoyed Modern Warfare 2 the same, if not a little more. MW2 is definitely has the more cinematic experience. There's A LOT more going on the screen at one time, and I believe the graphics are right up with Uncharted 2. I am actually more impressed with the graphics in MW2, considering all the stuff that's going on. Regardless, Uncharted 2 is one of the best game this year...Maybe even this gen. But there are other great games out there that on par with it. When you play MW2, you'll see what I mean.
Bioshock hands down best story after like 3 playthroughs you really fully get into the world of rapture that the devs created and it is immersive and deep. there is so much story and back story its amazing, i mean several books can be written about bioshock and still wouldn't uncover everything. that doesn't even start to scratch the morals and values in the game and the whole social structure built. Bioshock is the best video game story and i will stick to that. U2 may have great production and awesome action, but no where near as being as deep and immersive as bioshock

I never even got around to beating Bioshock on the 360, sadly. I recently purchased the PS3 version... I might start from scratch and get around to finishing it this time!

Same thing happened to me... Any game i've been playing since UC2 hasn't been put in the console even once. Fallout 3? See ya. GTA 4? Later. CoD? Screw you. MGS4? Nice playing ya! Things just haven't been the same.
At least it's not a sports game, that way i can still play FIFA 10.

Im sorry but the story is average, very very average. And thats just comparing it to gaming, im guessing you watch movies (which Uncharted tries hard to be) and on a wider spectrum, its pretty crappy. Sorry.
