Uncharted 2 is the pinnacle of currevideogame graphics

Nearly everytime someone talks about this game it's about graphics. Same thing with Crysis. I think everybody knows already those two have amazing graphics.

Yep. I think Uncharted will be at lot more fun to play than Crysis though... (IMO)(I did play Crysis and the first Uncharted and liked the latter better in terms of gameplay)

Oh yeah, I agree its outstanding but, its not something TC can really use to demonstrate teh powah of the PS3, its more to do with the high production values of the developer.

Animation code is not really cpu intensive. Yeah you can offload onto a spe but I can't see how that is different to it being run on one of the hardware threads for the 360 cpu. Infact animation like that is quite comfortably done with any modern cpu, its just not something that is going to hit a cpu hard. If you were talking hundreds of animations (all different) then you would have a point with the cell and considering its vector math capabilities. But in the case of Uncharted 2 its not really a demonstration of the Cell's performance.

The quality of the animation seen in Uncharted 2 and Killzone 2 can easily be done on the 360 or a C2D etc.

"depth in detail" - Crysis' models are rendered with much more polys. They are way more detailed and have much higher resolution textures, normal maping, specular maps etc. Crysis on its highest settings is waay more detailed.

Actually the animation in crysis is far more advanced. Its one of the few games if not only game to not have foot skating. In uncharted the way he move looks nice but he is not really pushing off the ground like in crysis. in crysis where the foot hits the ground it stays there, it does'nt drift a few inches forward. Also the way he moves looks alot more authentic then in uncharted. Looks like Drake is tripping all the time.

Oh, and how much does your 51 inch HDTV cost? Anything less than $2000, you're a liar. You can get 3 gaming PC's for that amount that can run Crysis at maximum settings (except resolution). So yeah, PC's are a lot more expensive... And it's not like a SDTV can produce those graphics you guys took from IGN.

I've noticed when it comes to these threads where PS3 fans proclaim "PS3 exclusive#143" to be graphics king,people take great delight in pointing out the obvious i.e crysis is the true graphics king and the consoles can't compare to a gaming rig. Most PS3 owners already know this.Myself included. :|

The crysis spammers and ultra-defensive hermits just make themselves look a little pathetic and desperate to be honest in arguing and trying to "own" deluded fanboys/trolls such as the TC. Save yourselves the effort and ingnore these threads if it really bothers you.

For console graphics, then yes nothing beats Uncharted 2. Not Assassin's Creed 2, not Forza 3, Not God of War 3, not Splinter Cell: Conviction or even Killzone 2. But overall, it's still Crysis.

Pinacle of current videogames graphics? Let alone crysis and stalker and probably a couple more games like total war and world in conflict look better by the end of this year microsoft will release DX11 and ATI and Nvidia will release the first Dx11 cards which they said it will offer alot of new features and great performance boost over current vga's ( considering they are based on an almost new architecture, theu actually calling them GPCPU's) and you think uncharted 2 is the pinnacle?
