AFAIK Uncharted 2 does not have AF,it has trillinear filtrating.Thats only(IMO) minus side of their engine.

see, I knew it either had trillinear or 2x AF, I'll take a close look later to make sure. (I thought 4x AF was a bit too much)

Texture filtering and quality is improved in the SP. But as you can obviously see... Gears 3 textures are higher quality. Even in the MP.

Since when did UC2 look that bad? It never looked that bad, especially when I played it on my own PS3.

I THINK UC2 has 4xMSAA in photo mode.Also,in photo mode you can tune up that depth of field to look even more appealing.

Yeah they do look bad, a couple people in this thread who actually played the game already commented saying they know Uncharted 2 looks better than those shots in SP and MP. That's why fanboy tactics like posting bad shots to make a comparison never work out, people see right though em.

So using native resolution screens shots, without any enhancements from the photomode like depth of field and blur like in your pics, directly taken with a capture card is bs?? But using lower resolution pictures, that apperantly have 32x aa, including stuff from the photomode is, real picture? Great, then this is halo reach, picture taken straight from theater mode.

Uncharted 2 has always looked nice, but the graphics aren't the main thing that impressed me... It's really all those layered animation that was so damn impressive. Also there were some parts where a lot of stuff was going on on-screen and made everything look nice when it was allk put together.

I thought uc2 was current console graphics "king"? Now when some claim gears 3 looks better it's no longer an accomplishment.
