It seems like you think i havn't played it. I have a 1.6 kd ratio and have put in a few days worth of game time. Most games usually are decided by who has host on their team or who gets lucky with the terrible shotgun, and who gets boomshot first. geow2 is brought down by the 360 and uncharted 2 would be too.

What games are all these new accounts playing? It seems like me and everyone I know on GS that I trust have great experiences the vast majority of the time in most games on all the platforms, but all these newer accounts pop up all the time telling us all how laggy every game on Live is.

That first 10 minutes of tutorial sure shows you what the game is like. You don't get more than a few guns, you only face a couple enemies, and you get to try nothing of the MP, which is a very different beast than the SP, not to mention the Horde mode.

I am currently part of the uncharted 2 beta and here are my impressions.
1.The graphics are not wowing me, they all most seem downgraded from the single player video's we've seen so far. 2.Its smoother and not a duck and cover fest? then i guess the game i was just in where over half of each team spent about 60% of their time hiding behind cover and taking pop shots at each other means nothing. 3.yeah it has a melee attack so does gears of war 1 and 2 but uncharteds is no where near as fullfilling as gears of wars theres nothing like headshotting someone close range with most weapons or meleeing them. 4.Balanced weapons? most people use the AK-47 or the NAL the AK-47 is not balanced it will beat out all most any other automatic weapon in the game, the nal is inane 2 bursts to the chest or head and over kill. and hope to god someone doesn't get the gattling gun it is super accurate at close to medium range and i've seen guys kill others across the map with it. 2-4 shots with it kills you its not a matter of amount of bullets the bullets do super damage it seems.
Jumping is useful for one thing and thats geting places it has no value in combat it self only in strategic placement of your person and thats fine its a part of the game but uncharted has absolutely NO gameplay that can't be found else where.
Now with that out of the way uncharted 2 beta is....FUNNNNNNN....im currently having a blast with it i've gotten inanely good with the NAL and gotten good at finding great sniper roosts on both plaza and village in deathmatch and plunder im ususally getting about 22-30 kills a match, though i dont get to play plunder nearly as much as i'd like to because every one seems to hate it, ill get into a match and be the only one that voted for plunder i've not yet played coop, otherwise it has all the same problems as most other multiplayer games team killers, spawn campers...ect All so there just aren't enough people with mics, I've seen about 10 people since i got the beta with mics....I hope its different in coop.

Online sucks compare to Gears 1. Bring back the damn lobbies. Matchmaking sucks. Super laggy. But most of all I can't urlacher anymore.

Gears 1 is great, gears 2 is almost average. well thats a difference in our opinion, I loathed gears of war 1's multiplayer it was nothing but wall hopping shotgun fests, and while gears 2 uses alot of shotguns wall hopping isn't nearly as much, host advantage is far less, and improves quite alot.
I won't go as far as saying it will def. be better than Gears 2. But it is more dynamic considering the traversal and platforming. U2's MP is better than what I expected. The hit-detection is accurate, responsive and intuitive controls, and its just damn fun :). Co-op is just as fun or even more so than DM and Plunder (which is like CTF, except you can throw the treasure). The co-op being 3 players struck the right balance. I can definitely say I see myself playing it more than Gears 2, but not sure about Gears 1!Episode_Eve
You hit the nail on the head. U2 is a blast and who knows what other maps and modes will be included when U2 launches. I will go as far as saying U2 will be the TPS to beat on the PS3. U2 is everything MGO should have been, it's fun and engaging and strikes the right balance. To the poster that said the weapons should be more powerful maybe just a little bit anymore and it would throw it out of wack.

If you have played gears 2 you would know it has lag in pretty much every game, overpowered host, and crap like nade wall tagging. I am not surprised uncharted 2 has better multiplayer but then again most online shooters are better.
