i'm pretty sure that Uncharted 2 already has more marketing from the gameplay sniplets and shear hype than Uncharted 1 did, lol. Seriosuly, I know people with a PS3 who hadn't heard about the first one until I told them about it and I myself don't even own a PS3 yet! With that said, just because the first Uncharted wasn't a system seller doesn't mean that 2nd won't be. Some of you guys love a make stupid assumptions and I'm not sure why you're so simple minded as to ignore reasonable possibilities.
The game:
1)already getting more buzz than the 1st uncharted did.
2)people are actually paying attention to the PS3 line up of games rather focusing on how little/low quality games it has in comparison to the Xbox 360, which was out 1 YEAR EARLIER THAN THE PS3 (yes, the majority of people did this excluding the PS3 fanboys).
3)E3 is still coming so more details on the game will create more buzz.
4)Has numerous noticeable improvements from the last one and it will feature multiplayer, which will have the same control set as single player (which is awesome if you've seen that 5 minute gameplay video).
5)Even if people don't notice the improvements there is one thing that's certain, this game looks beautiful.
6)Sony might actually try to market a game for once?
All of these factors contribute to why this EASILY could be a system seller.
Naughty Dog has it together.
