uncharted 2 whats the fuss.

So I was at gamestop and haven't bought a PS3 game in a long time so I was checking out god of war and uncharted 2, So I decided to get uncharted since everyone on these forums says this game awesome plus it has amazing graphics.

This game is alright and for the graphics, and what people say no other game comes close to it. WTH are some of you smoking I will say this game is prob the best looking console game But it really doesn't look much better than killzone 2 are even gears of war 2

For the people that say this game is on par with Crysis.LOL

Yeah, the graphics are very close to the other great ones on consoles. I didn't really like the game overall, though.

Note the "it doesent look MUCH BETTER". That means: It is better, but not by much.

It realy doesent by much. It just looks preatier because its so colourful, but its not realy 10 times as good looking as KZ2.

That particular statement made sense whether you like it or not. It's not a contradiction. He said that while it does look better, it's not by much.

Yet that's what we go with. People, the metacritics, it's all opinions and all the awards UC2 won = opinions too. Some can say that the game doesn't look as good as X game but the case here is that many do.

Your completely entitled to have your opinions heard but it doesn't have much of an impact when a good amount of the gaming community is against you. It was the best looking game of last year. End of story.

I'm not trying to start any debate. All I'm saying is that it is no more "true" that X game is better than Y game because of popular opinion. My personal position is that UC2 is a great game, although I didn't like it that much. And you commited a logical fallacy, I'm going to point it out.
