I really don't understand the hype for this game. The first was a good third person shooter/adventure. This one looks like it will be better. How does this translate as "OMFG!!!! UNCHARTED ******* TWO!!!!!!!!!!"

I'm glad you recognize it :). Plus Co-op, competitive, and cinema which are brand new for the series. U2 will be a beast of a game.

Are you crazy? :lol: Halo 3 and Killzone 2 and MGS4. Even Forza 3 has as much hype as Uncharted 2. It's completely understandable if you aren't interested in the game though. There's just a ALOT of people that are.

Yeah it automatically loses all credibility because it's a PS magazine :roll:. That's like GS has no credibility because of the review fiasco a few years ago or IGN because they've overrated some games. Of course they may slightly overhype Uncharted 2, but it still is good news for Uncharted 2 and this is the second amazing review.

Get the f out of here. That is absoloutly as ridicolous as this quote. You are saying this game is more hyped than Killzone 2, halo 3, Gears of war, or GTA 4. You are insane. Those are the 4 zomg hyped games that I saw. This is 2nd tier. Sort of like COD4. And it should get hyped way more. I mean 2 game of the show overall wins. Best graphcis on the console?

It won 2 game of the shows at e3 and gamescom. If that game doesn't get hyped, system wars is insane.

but the hype isnt for nothing tho...the beta is out, ppl played it. the game won the most awards ever in E3 history. graphics beyond console standards. lovable characters that you actualy care about...U2 is everything you want...so just because the first uncharted wasnt all..."OMG" doesnt mean the sequel wont be....the first uncharted got an average score of 9...what do you thing U2 will get if it has improved on everything?....a straight flush

I think the point is, this magazine is known to toss around hyperbole like party favors.

Thehre is a huge difference to "This is the best fps in 2009" than "Forget game of the year, this is one of the best games of all tiem".

I loved the first Uncharted. Uncharted 2 is one of my most anticipated games of the year. I am hyping it AAA.

I was just making a joke. My point was simply that I want to wait for other reviews before we all go "ZOMG! Game of the Generation!"

I saw your angle. It's just that whenever I post in SW I post about SW primarily. Still, across the internet both Uncharted 2 and Forza 3 are hyped out of the ass :P.

Yeah more reviews before we can officially call it. Ir's a possibility OPM may be biased toward exclusives, but their review scores are usually on point. And I haven't read anything like "one of the greatest games of all time" from them... well, ever.
