Uncharted 2:"Forgot game of the year, this is one of the best games of all

Seriously it's an Action/adventure game..theres nothing in it that's going to justify this hype. Honestly; Nothing.

It'll be a good game but it wont deserve the perfect scores and it certainly doesn't deserve this silly hype.

Guys yall are missing the point. Theres a bunch in here including myself that has played the beta and it was awesome. The speed and action of the online play was very reminiscent of cod4, especially when you throw in the perk system and level ups. And then the COUNTLESS awards it has won at every game show this year that it has been shown or played at. I think alot of yall are going to look very bad once other reviews come down from other sites lol.

I mean its not like were hyping a game that we haven't played yet, cause we have played it. This is going to be yet another title that you are going to hear about being so polished for the ps3.

Well the original Uncharted would definitely be in my top 20 games of all time, and with the improvements the second one is introducing, (co-op, online, improved gfx etc) I see no reason to be alarmed by this.

And people need to stop assuming that just because a magazine focuses on one brand that it's completely biased. Like when OPM2 UK gave the first MGS4 review of 10/10 and people cried 'bias', despite the fact that they were the same ones to give Resistance 7/10.

Watch the trailers. No othre game has done anything like that before (movie quality cutscenes and gameplay), besides Uncharted 1 :P

Firmware 3.01 is out now. Could be a fix for it.

I think Nintendo and XBox magazines also said that about Halo 3 and Zelda Twilight Princess. Neither of those are close to being the best game ever and I doubt this will be as well.

I can agree that using a PS3 magazine is'nt the best review example to use to show what most reviewers will give this game, specially when they are stating it's the best game of ALL TIME. One of the best games of the year and a strong contender for getting game of the year overall? Most definitely. One of the greatest games of all time? That is quite the lofty claim and I'll just leave it at that. That being said, I have not played the game, but I think it is obvious that it is going to be simply great, regardless of it is one of the best ever or not. That is all anyone can really ask and I think it will more than deliver on that front.

The Demo is not like the full game. Trust me. The game is my favorite PS3 one until U2 probably.

I'm glad to see Naughty Dog on the map. I loved the Jak franchise. I also really loved the multiplayer beta of Uncharted 2. As for the mag. quote, Im pretty upset with Playstation for that. That makes Journalists everywhere look pretty bad.

Yeah its an official magazine, but this is also the magazine that gave Warhawk a 65. If you look on metacritic that is actually the lowest review score the game was given on there. The Overall Metacritic score for Warhawk is an 84

People who don't understand why OOT is so loved, is because they didn't play it back in 98. Its still a great game that has held up really well with time. You just won't be able to enjoy it as much as everyone else did back then.There is also the small chance you are one of the few people who really didn't like it back then. However, when you first see Hyrule Field in that game, it is simply amazing. I have never felt the same with any other game this gen. Going back and forth through time was amazing! Riding a horse was amazing! There were just so many things to the game that gave you a wow feel.

Really how so? I'd love to see some actual evidence that proves this claim? Don't think I'm going to find any. PTOM and OXM from my research aren't bias. They haven't done anything to suggest otherwise.

Seriously I already posted what other high profile exclusives PTOM has scored and they are not out of the average and sometimes even lower than most other sites.

I mean nhh may have a point with the superlatives but I still think that it may indeed be that awesome of a game. But just because its a one platform/company magazine =/= that it is bias.

is PC gamer mag bias' towards all PC games and hardware? No. None of them are Play magazine.
