Uncharted 3 > Uncharted 2

Iloveall three Uncharted games. Heck, I even like Golden Abyss. I'm a huge fan of the series, and I rarely ever criticize it, but whenever I do, I do it for UC2. In fact, I believe Uncharted 3 is much better than Uncharted 2. Why? Because-

SPOILER ALERT

1. Uncharted 2 had one huge mistake- beginning with the Borneo mission till the mission where we have to get to Chloe in the train, the pacing was fantastic. It was fast, it was was thrilling, it was exciting. But the missions prior to the Borneo missions and the snowy missions later in the game killed the pace. Sure, it was still enjoyable then, but it was nothing like the middle missions which ran at a breakneck pace.

Uncharted 3, on the other hand, runs at an excellent pace right from the beginning till the end. I was disappointed with the ending, yeah, but the overall experience was much better than UC2.

2. Uncharted 2's explanation for the Yetis and the "monsters" was really stupid. I mean, people wearing masks? Really?

3. Uncharted 3's set pieces were much better than those in UC2. The horse chase, the sinking ship, the airplane crash... s many memorable moments.

4. A much better story, better character interaction, better storytelling.

U2 had a much bigger impact on me. It was more memorable, the pacing was great and the multiplayer was alot better than U3s for me.
I beat U3 in one sitting, it was pretty easy and had less memorable moments. It was good but not as good.

I disagree OP. The pacing at the beginning of UC3 is horribly slow. I know they were doing it for charcater development which I did like better than UC2 but it just seemed they forgot it at the last part of the game. I will say it had the best levels of all the games with the graveyard and the ship. Too bad the ending was a dissapointment. The MP was more fleshed out which was great. UC3 was a great game but you can tell it was rushed to get out to the masses for Christmas unfortunately. Too bad they didn't have another 3 months to tighten up the story.

U2 was disappointing after all the praise I heard of. U3 was more fun to me, maybe cause I wasnt expacting as much as I was with U2

Uncharted 2 was longer, had more single player features and it's MP took more skill.

Uncharted 3 just has few more MP modes and more MP features.

Uncharted 3 was garbage tbh

I think the characters are great and the shooting mechanics poor.That goes for both games. But as a series it's better than most.

all 3 uncharted games were amazing.

Uncharted 3 had its moments (shipyard gameplay , sandstorm gameplay , the twist gameplay).

The story in Uncharted 3 was a great dissapointment. Some weird plot holes and oddities made it felt like a rushed product.

Uncharted 2 had a bigger jump from Drake's Fortune more so than Uncharted 3 had on 2. Both amazing action games though.

I love both games, but Uncharted 3 is the worst in the series by default simply because of Chapter 18.

It's the worst section in any video game ever. That one section alone killed any interest I had in replaying.

Edit - Why are people mentioning story? Who cares. They're awful in every Uncharted and if you're playing it for story you're doing it wrong.
