Sand was the Technical challenge ND was looking for

-ND staffs almost killed themselves in the heat

-one guy barfed

-Sand is much harder than Snow, can't just copy paste the UC2 snow techniques & change the colors/ shaders

-sand is always in motion, like the sea. every footprint, gust of wind creates a whirl pool of sand

-natural barriers, so no invisible walls

inb4 "But teh Crysis!" and "But teh Gears 3!" and "but teh gameplay is more important den graphix!" The Uncharted series is at the top of its genre and one of the best examples of art direction, camera angles, and believable characters in the entire videogame industry, not to mention it's fun. Get over it, y'all.

Preemptive DC is always the funniest. Yet alot of this is opinion, except the camera angles, which are factually good.

You guys love to use the word "factually" a lot. How can a camera angle be "factually good" since it is based on artistic expression? You guys also love to dismiss everything as "opinion" and then in just a few words assert your own.

What damage is being controlled here? And this "preemptive DC" of which you speak is actually a rhetorical technique that is taught in most high school and college composition courses. Anticipate the arguments that people will make against your claim and "preemptively" counter them. It's a sign of good writing and progression of thought.

Camera angles being factual good means that the camera was in no way a hinderance to your enjoyment of the game. Which is why we can objectively say, games like NG2 has bad camera angles and UC has good camera angles, Art style = opinion, because I could easily say it's bad without any proof and you can't prove me wrong either, same with the characters.

Camera angles being factually good means the camera was in no way a hindrance to your enjoyment of the game...thought "enjoyment" was an opinion (a.k.a subjective, not objective). You're grasping at straws.

Nothing that's why I called it preemptive. Secondly your statement doesn't change the fact it's preemptive damage control.

Its a sequel to one of the most critically acclaimed games of all time. Nothing less than AAAE, it could be AAAAE if some aspect of the game are taken more seriously like the dialogue and plot.
