I guess it's not impressive at all as we all know PS3 is capable of real-life like graphics... in order to be impressive it would need to get beyond-real-life like graphics.

There can't be any king chanting with no pic proof.

Crysis 2 still wins (since it has city instead of jungle)

I guess no one understands this thread. It's not trying to say Crysis is inferior. Uncharted 3 just looks really good. I'm impressed and yes the beta DOES look like that. On the comment that Crysis 2 looks better, I say, NO just NO.

Uncharted 3 sure is gorgeous. Thankfully the multiplayer graphics are great too, unlike Uncharted 2's MP which didn't look so good :P

What? He said UNCHARTED 3 VS Real Life and I chose real life....

No...not even close. One is very clearly a video game. The kind of side by side comparisons that came out with Crysis fooled a fair bit of people when they're not labled. I dont think anyone would be fooled by this.

A little off-topic, but just want to say how blown away I was with the amount of detail and the incredible layout design of the Yemen map in the UC3 beta. ND spares no effort when it concerns attention to detail.

Mirror's Edge looks photoreal only in places. And DiRT 3 looks nothing like the real thing. GT5's photo-mode smokes DiRT 3.

F1 is actually better than that. It's even better than PGR4 even though both were off-screen. I'm waiting to get a racing wheel before I really start playing it.

Some GTA IV mods for the PC look pretty photorealistic too.

There is even a track in Quebec that has a mansion gated off in the background with a working water fountain.That kind of detail is insane for a racing game because 99% won't even notice it.

where is the hud? not saying that is THAT impressive but i dont understand why people eat up bullshots which developers throw at them. the end game rarely looks as good as the screenshots

It looks great but not photorealistic, you can still tell its a video game. The only picture that could pass for photorealism is perhaps the first, the others couldn't.

I think U3 looks better than Crysis 2 on consoles, but PC Crysis obviously beats it. You mentioned cities, aren't jungles harder to render than cities?
