It’s not even just the best Uncharted game. This is one of the most fully-realized action campaigns of all time, and it sets a new bar of quality for what’s possible in the genre.

I'm very very glad UC 4 got 10/10. Time to get a PS 4 after all :)

Same here. It was the UC games that prompted me to buy a PS3. It'll be the same with UC4.

Can SW bring back the metagame and make GS reviews the only thing that matters again to get the fun back. Without that, games that doesn't meet hype or games that gets a 10, just doesn't have the punch that it would have. I mean just look at metacritic and notice how many PlayStation reviewers there are, these sources aren't reliable as they could be biased and sways the average. It's just all fun and games so I don't know why the SW formula was changed to try to make it all technical but really what it did is take away the importance of reviewers opinions. So getting a 10 and being an exclusive doesn't mean anything anymore since the metagame was killed off oh well.

Anyway I'm guessing Sony and ND are smart and will patch their game to get updated performance and graphics on the NeO. The story is the main draw so once you completed it a few times there's no reason to go back to it anymore. Getting the updated version would make that good experience great. Also it's odd how reviewers will wait to test out games and wait for servers so their reviews are in progress for games that's out like Battleborn but on the other side they already have a review without testing out the servers for a game not out like U4. Pretty odd but not surprising. Anyway Uncharted 4 is a good goodbye present for those PS4 users that remain on their old hardware as the game look really good. But when the new hardware comes, games will look their best.

Quantum Break killer

The metagame is still there, one overzealous mod saying it isn't doesn't mean shit. It's dead for most purposes, but that comes down to activity of the board.

Very impressive review scores. I have a PS4 so I win and will check this game out once the semester is over. If it is better then UC2 and TLOU then Naughty Dog has earned all the praise it gets.

Yeah, I'm not sure why Quantum Break is brought up in this conversation. QB doesn't belong on the same planet as something that is getting the praise UC4 is. I look forward to experiencing UC4 for myself next week.

Hopefully this one is worthy of the score. Uncharted 3 did not deserve the 9 it received.

Naughty God needs to expand their prowess to open world. Im fucking yearning for an open world RPG from them.

As of now, the studio is perfect, and Sony should do everything in their power to keep the core people intact so we can continue on having consistent, quality games from Naughty Dog.

I had a feeling UC3 was a "fluke" of sorts with some of their team working on The Last of Us and UC3 not getting full attention.

Seems when they are completely focused ND just makes great games.

Hell UC1 was their first attempt at this series and it was a solid game.

They've just gotten better and stayed there.
