To be fair, I don't know why people are excited for Uncharted 4.

@Lulu_Lulu: Apparently this linearity and repetitive shooting never bothered the lems last gen,with them bragging and hyping Gears Of War like anything.
Either way,I don't see anything wrong with linear gameplay.Some of the best games hailed by the critics / awards are linear and I am one of the old school gamers, to whom Story matters the most.As long as the story is good and enjoyable , I don't have any problems following it no matter how linear the game is
Also, UC4 is going to look sick. I hope it's more open ended and fun to play though. They need to work on the platforming and either make the puzzles worth while or ditch them altogether.
I thought the puzzles in U3 were almost perfect. Not too hard to figure out but not too easy either. They were actually clever this time around, especially when compared to U1 and U2 puzzles...
That puzzle in U3 that played with the shadows in a room full of holes was brilliant and one of the better thought out puzzles I've ever seen in my 15 years of gaming with a good portion of puzzle games...
So extremely pumped for this game. Imo the best developers in Naughty Dog and this is my favorite IP from them. I can't wait to see what they do with the PS4's hardware on this game.

ND are a proven dev. If their game's rated with a 5/10 then that will be the best 5/10 game you have ever played in your life.
To be clear, i do enjoy the Uncharted series greatly and wish to play UC4. TLOU, not so much.
I was just pointing out that there's a ton of hype for UC4, mostly propelled by TLOU, and it's scores/awards, so i can imagine scoring bellow 90 on MC, or something, plus flopping on SW, would make cows go nuts. Just an example, in that thread about which game flopping would hurt fanboys the most, UC4 leads at around 40%.
Still,i'm wishing this is the last game and that it ends the series on a high note. Drake's getting old man
Naughty Dogs set the bar on gameplay/graphics on consoles. The developers themselves are praised by the industry and other developers alike and reap so many awards. No doubt GS will give it a lower score for thrills but it will still be amazing.
There has always been haters and jealousy over them, that ain't going to change.
