Uncharted 4 vs Gears of War 5: Which game is more fun to play?

No comment on Gears but UC4 was a straight up snoozefest. 😴

Still, i'll answer that I enjoyed UC4 more.

Going with Gears 5 since the first 3 games were a lot of fun whereas Uncharted 4 was one of the worst games I played last gen.

Both suck. same games. cover shooters but if i have to choose. uncharted.

Uncharted 4 is miles infinately ahead of Gears 5.

Uncharted had a really slow start, but I enjoyed it when it got going.

Uncharted 4 was bad but at least I was able to complete the mess, Gears 5 on the other hand. 😐😑

I only voted for it because I thought the first 3 were really good whereas every Uncharted bar the 2nd game were meh imo with the 4th being the worst of the lot.

Gears 5 isnt a bad game, but its more of the same. Arguably Uncharted 4 also was more of the same. Id say uncharted had a much more polished SP campaign, but Gears 5 has more replay value because it still has solid MP.

This one for me is somewhat of a toss up.

Uncharted 4 was one of the best games last gen. Gears 5 was a steaming turd. Kait was such a bad protagonist.

You should have compared UC4 to Pokemon App, and ask which of the two games had the best gameplay. Then, when this thread is done, create another one asking the same question by comparing God of War to Splatoon.

Really didn't enjoyed my time with U4, Gears 5 was more enjoyable to me.

I hope its being compared to Splatoon, Ring Fit Adventure or Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity. Don't forget to ask which one has the best gameplay, its very important.

Haven’t played Uncharted 4, yet, but I’ll probably still choose Gears 5 after I do. I enjoy the Uncharted games but I enjoy the Gears of War games more. The online multiplayer goes quite a ways into that for me. The multiplayer is so fun and Horde mode is a total blast.

Uncharted 4 has the same issues that The Last of Us did where Nate would just walk slowly and you can't progress properly until he shuts up.

Nope! It was just Gears of War. I always found the game to mediocre. So, no surprise that I found Gears 5 to be more of the same. Uncharted 4 was just a massive downgrade.

I've finished the first three Uncharted games more than one but I don't have the energy to ever replay 4 personally. The set pieces were crap imo and I didn't like how they halted progress to let Drake speak for like 3 minutes. :(

The battle of two boredom inducers. UC4 wins by a hair.

I enjoyed UC 1 and UC 2. I was so excited to play UC3 and they dropped the ball hard as far as I am concerned. It looked great but the pacing, the story and gameplay was below average. Reviewers claimed that UC4 was different and it was an improvement over 3. Played it and felt like I was conned. 😑

The fact that they removed features like throwing back grenades just made it feel simplified from 3 imo and I already didn't like 3 either.

Also, in agreement that the level design in 4 was horrible because of how insanely large every area was?

@iamdavey: Not surprised about that and from what I’ve heard and seen about the game that’s pretty much what I expected. Anyway I actually do have the game and do look forward to playing it as I did enjoy the previous games. I just enjoyed the Gears of War games especially when it comes to the online multiplayer.

I've tried to play Gears games.. They're just really boring to me..I still try them tho.

@Pedro: UC4 has the best gameplay out of the entire series, having the pace slow down at times doesn't change that.

Uncharted 4 largely felt like a movie game to me, but a very good movie it was. I haven't played Gears 5 yet since I found Gears 4 mostly boring.

I've never really liked the Gears franchise personally so I'm going with Uncharted... although that's not saying much.. lol.

Both pretty bad games, but UC4 was beyond dull and easily the most overrated game last game... so guess gears win by default

Played both yet only Uncharted 4 stay in my mind. The set pieces were gorgeous and although I really dont care about Sam, the overall writing still very good and the gameplay is fun, simple enough to never outstay its welcome. I enjoyed the stealth mechanics too I replayed some levels to check if we can stealth our way to finale.

Both franchises that should've been just their trilogies, but I'll pick Gears 5 since that's less cinematic stuff. Although I'd rather play 4, but that doesn't happen much with that game.

definitely gears 5,and it looks better…in fact the hivebusters dlc looks better than ANY ps game.

On topic, both series are garbage though I do believe Gears is worse. Just can't stand it at all. Only played the first and haven't looked back again. Though I heard Gears at least has a decent MP pretty sure UC doesn't even have that.

@pc_rocks: UC does have multiplayer. People just pretend it doesn't exist for some reason. Reviewers liked it so haters can have fun trying to tear down a legit multiplayer experience.

Uncharted 4 was the most boring game I played all generation. Sometimes when I'm having trouble sleeping I put it on in the background like ocean waves or nature sounds....

I didn't play gears 5, but I can pretty much guarantee it wasn't as lame as uncharted 4.

UC4 because it offers more than just a generic shooter. though i find it slightly overrated due to how they pace out the game.

I've never played Gears 5 because I didn't like the first game and just gave the series up after that. On the other side, I loved Uncharted 1-3 and I thought 4 was the worst in the series, but it was still a decent game. It just didn't live up to the hype that the first 3 games earned.

I bought gears 5 but haven't played it yet. probably going to say uncharted 4 is better if gears 5 plays like gears 1-3 though. I really like gears games because killing things is satisfying, I find the controls to be clunky though and story.....good enough.
