Lol is your point supposed to be that they all look like shit? Cause that's what I'm seeing here.

I don't care what ppl say...Crysis 3 looks like shit.

Up close it might be detailed, but I have that shit at 1080p with everything turned up and distance clarity is shit. There are games that are much better with sharpness in distances than Crysis 3...older and newer. It even sucks when you zoom.

I'm not saying the other games in the OP look better....just saying Crysis is so fucking overrated....the whole series...it fucking pains me.

I kinda agree with you , i dont get how Crysis 3 is praised that much for its graphics. They are great and all but .. oh well ! Original Crysis back in the days was the only Crysis title that made a difference to me at least , graphics speaking

I don't know all look cartoonish to me except for ryse it looks a bit more realistic I mean the skin..

Might be your monitor or overuse of AA that makes the game look softer? Literally never heard anyone complain about the image clarity in Crysis 3.

To my surprise The Order 1886 looks the best.

Uncharted 4 and The Order 1886 look terrible up close. Ryse and Crysis 3 don't look good either but they don't look that bad.

I think they all look amazing.

I think SQ42 will be graphics king when it comes out if that turns out to be in-game screenshot!

Face comparison =/= Graphics Comparison. There an awful lot more to graphics than just how well a face is drawn.

The Order, for instance has fantastic facial animation and fidelity but the game looks like utter shit because everything, apart from the faces, have low resolution textures and/or is hidden behind massively over used blurring film grain, depth of field and fog.

Uncharted 4 is affected by terrible LoD meaning that there is very little detail in anything more than a few metres away, plus the Sony trade mark heavy depth of field and motion blur (no where near as bad as The Order).

Ryse on PC (I've not seen it on Xbox One first hand) has a lot more environmental detail and a much longer LoD than the other two but is limited to small'ish areas. The good thing is that the motion blur and DoF smoke and mirror veil can be removed.

Crysis 3 is better than the other three with far larger and more detailed environments which a way more reactive to the player and A.I. movements and much better effects such as particles, water etc.

Squadron42 will take graphics to the next level but it's a long way from release.

Those games look great...your pics look terrible.

Uncharted 4 is alongside TW3, BF1 and a couple others the best looking games of the last 18-24 months. For me, with its fluidity and draw distance, it is the best.

Ryse and The Order are below that, in fact Ryse is several tiers below the best looking games of current gen. I remember playing it at an XB1 preview event and I wasn't even impressed back then.

@GarGx1: UC4 does not have low LoD, thats absolute rubbish. Ryse is about 1/4th the size of UC4's larger maps. It has far superior draw distance and is rendering much larger environments.

I dunno, they all look pretty shitty.

Of those pics, Uncharted 4 and Ryse take the cake. I know Crysis 3 looks great for a last gen but come on, dude. It's time has passed already. Besides, even if we are trying to make a comparison, that picture you got of Crysis is too dark and too far away.

Damn Uncharted looks good. I love how they render the facial hair.

The clarity is fine in shots like the one that's always posted of the guys face.

But a bit later, there's a part where theres a lot of water and you're up high where there's enemies down below.

the clarity when zooming with the bow to kill those enemies is complete shit. You can't make out anything on the enemies. I'L have to take a screen shot later.

Others might not be bothered by it but I've played games where you zoom farther than that and it was nearly crystal clear. It's as if when you zoom it doesn't get clearer it stays at that far away bunched up jumble of colors from far away.
