If there is one thing about Uncharted Drake's Fortune that seperates it from the rest of the pack is the realism in the movements of the character. I mean I havent seen one game that looks as realistic as the main character in Uncharted in gameplay motion. Just look at these videos and tell me what game out there, including the ones coming out later this year that are huge have realistic human movements like Uncharted? This is what makes this game a must buy, because its almost as real as it gets.

you are joking right?!! Uncharted has some of the worst character animations i've seen; from randomly flying through the air to do a bicycle kick (from LAYING DOWN) or swinging a club at waist height that randomly drops to foot height when it hits an enemy to trip them up.the animations remind me of hitman games, they dont work basically.

sorry but no...like all ps3 games the textures are spread few and far between..like on a wall here or a log there..

and to say the greenery is better than crysis is just flat out fanboyism..this game looks cartoon and crysis looks LIKE real..

Well, people ususally feel that sokmeone is biased when they use the words "Cell", "RSX", and "Superior" in the same sentence, in capital letters.

Uncharted looks VERY real to me.

most people know the cry2 engine does'nt seem to good at doing snow....

Sorry for going off topic but this sentence just got to me, i remember back in the day when Far Cry was about to be released i'd seen pics of it everywhere, and it looked amazing for the time, but when i got my hands on the game, the graphics were awesome, but the gameplay was mediocre at best. I honestly could only stomach about 2 or 3 hours of the game before i shelved it.

So we all know Crysis looks amazing but is there any reason to believe its not just another graphical showcase (like Far Cry) with mediocre gameplay?

Of course this is all just my opinion, and i'm not attacking you i just dont share your opinion about Crytek.

My thoughts exactly, but believe me, we are the minority with that opinion.

I think Crysis has sublime graphics but nothing about the game looks interesting to me. I suppose it has the potential to be great though so I'm not going to deem the game to be a flop with no evidence.

I did enjoy Far Cry for a solid amount of time though, so I may like Crysis too.

I too thought Far Cry's gameplay was too basic, but if you have even watch Crysis videos or read up and compared with Farcry its completely different:

1) Speed / Strentgh / Armour / Stealth modes = much better tactical combat.

2) Destructable everything (this can bring hours of fun)

3) 3 Squad mates, all playing thier parts at different times, can die at anytime.

4)Bigger range of viechles with great control / Dustructable parts , not just buggies (FAR CRY)

5) Alot better AI, Enemies use the Jungle and eachother for help other than just mass running at you like in Farcry.

 6) Online community gets support from day 1, a proper SDK mod file, and brilliant map editor

7) Powerstruggle mode is like battlefield scale, with day/night play / alien tech random generating (MEtoer i assume) ranks / "PRestige points" to buy Nano-suit upgrades/Viechle Liscense (Limits viechle to you only, you can give it to a teamate).

well I dont know what else I can say, everythng there branches out and adds tons to the FPS genre not just Far Cry itself.

Its new and different, it may fail, but it also may be the best thing to happen to the genre, its not just graphics ... -.- 

Either way, UNCHARTED has textures that are EQUAL to those screens just posted (except for the DUCK maybe). I can post them but I just don't feel like it, I'm tired and need to go to bed.SergeantSnitch

Yes you clearly do, because your talking rubbish tbh, There isnt much realistic about Uncharted, the forests are nowhere near Crysis standard let alone the effects.
