I have to agree just look at this. The game is unbelievable looking. The animations, and art design in my opinion are better.

I own both systems...and I would have to say Gears still looks better, at least only from seeing the videos there. The animations are really crisp and smooth in Uncharted, no doubt about that, but from the videos I would say Gears, maybe because I've played that on an HDTV, I think I can give you a good answer right now until Uncharted comes out, but they definitely have the ability to make it look better than Gears.

Er, I'm no fanboy but I still think GeOW looks better than uncharted.

Uncharted is a lot more colourful, Gears needed to be dark and drab though; for the same reason RE4 did.. The atmosphere.

Could be, but whenever I hear someone proudly comparing a finished product to previews, videos and screenshots (all of which can and have been doctored up in the past) of a game not yet out, I smell cow.  Let's wait until we can sit down with both ourselves before we put one up on a pedestal, shall we?

Uncharted is a good looking game, no doubt, and it looks fun! I DO NOT however think it looks better than Gears of War. The animations are good and everything, the character models different, but good,... but Gears has much better texturing and effects. I still haven't seen many games that can compare. Uncharted will be a good game for Sony sheeple, but I dont care because Im not gettin PS3, I have plenty of games to play, and plenty of amazing titles to look forward to on my Three-Six-Oh!

I always think hyping what you haven't played achieves little but eventual self-ownage, and besides the graphics is better compared to Far Cry's.

I don't know about you, but I don't stare at still screenshots when I play my games. I'm comparing the King Kong game with the Uncharted gameplay footage.

You may want to try looking at moving images too in your future comparisons.

its like saying the original ninja gaiden looks better than sigma for the ps3 just because the original set the standard
